I’ve just found your channel and I’m really impressed. Other RUclipsrs with the Insta360 Go 2 just seem to be reading off a script. You do your own thing and you don’t miss anything out. Great video 👍🏻
I was quite confused about whether to get one because I'm worried about the image quality. Thank you for the video, so I have the confidence to own it.
Thanks for the video EMT. We just ordered an insta360 go 2 and your video was very helpful. Just subscribed and will check out some more of you content soon. All the best!
A good ideia for this insta360 when it means audio is that if the case was like a wireless mic, and you can plug in your tshirt and use like rode wireless go or the new mic system of dji pocket 2. Or the case came with a P2 plug, you throw into your pocket and use a lavalier mic. If they did this, this product will smash go pro and osmo pocket.
Thank you for this video! We just got the Insta360 Go2 in the mail today and we were wondering how to edit the files since only Premiere Pro and Final Cut are mentioned and we are DaVinci Resolve users. Thanks buddy!
really nice tutorial, but prores 422 wont give you extra latitude in post as this camera is a 8bit limited range sensor. It will however be easier on your computer to process files and give smooth playback in your editing app. All the best. Just thought I'd point that out :)
Thanks for all the info and the tutorial!! How about the bitrate when you export the video from insta360 studio? 112 is the default, shall i use max, or lower ? ColorPlus, Remove Grain options you never use ? Thanks again and keep up the good content
Awesome video! I just got mine and am impressed. So, I have 2 questions. I noticed a little bit of what looks like oil on the inside of the lens (not the removable one, but the one attached to the body). According to my test footage, I don't see anything come up so maybe it's not affecting image quality, but just wondering if anyone else has the same oil on the inside? 2. I also have the Insta 360 One X 2 and I was wondering if you can change the angle of the camera in post. I'm guessing not, since this is not 360 footage. Thanks from a videographer who's just kinda starting out!
Great and informative video... I purchased one... still waiting for its arrival and I'm wondering if you can do a longer timelapse with the camera in the case and PLUGGED IN through a battery bank or an outlet???
I also ordered mine. Unfortunately, after waiting a while, I called the company and they said they dispatch within 20 days after ordering it. Which means 20 days after you order the camera they will ship it out (they're low on stock) and then it'll take 5-10 days to arrive here in the USA. :(
Great camera great vid , I have a insta 360 go2 but the 360 studio on my laptop will not Import the files . Baffled Fred ps works fine on the app on phone and iPad just a bit slow downloading.
Great review! Is there a way to turn off horizon leveling within the studio app and still keep the stabilization while it was recorded in Pro Video mode? Just wondering because there might be a time I would like the video without it.
Great video! I hope to receive the GO 2 asap, but in the meantime all these videos are greatly appreciated. I'm curious about one thing though. I understand exporting at 1440p when using the wide angle, because there are actually enough pixels on the original file to do so. When using the narrow view (for instance) though, why would you still export to 1440p if you're cropping so far into the sensor that there's not actually 1440 pixels left in the height of the frame. The original GO did the same where switching to linear view would only maintain 900 pixels in height, but still export at 1080p. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if you're actually exporting a lower resolution video to a 1440p file when changing the view to anything lower than ultrawide.
Thats a great question. By the original resolution in Pro Mode being 2688x2688 I feel it might actually have the amount to fall right at the edge of 1440p but it's also possible that there could be some upscaling. A great experiment indeed.
@@EMTFILMS, I believe it is because there is a difference between EFL (effective focal length) vs FOV (field of view). For example, when using say a Sony A7R4 is in APSC mode, the FOV is cropped by 1.5, but the EFL is still 1.0, hence why you don’t lose the pixels as you would with a A6600, both using FF lens. Hope that makes sense!
I feel like an idiot but how do I get the files from the camera to my computer? I am using the original cable but no device appears? 😕 Edit: Oh, the case had to be open... I thought it would work as a flash drive. 😳
Are you able to keep auto iso and shutter by default in pro mode? I have manual every time I turn on and off the camera. It’s such annoying to connect it to my phone every time and switch to auto or adjust iso and shutter. Otherwise I can get overexposed or underexposed video without a preview
I have storage in mind and see that the iOS mobile app won’t export in h.265 but only h.264. The STUDIO app has option to export in h.265. Would U think exporting from mobile app after edits and importing into studio to export again in h.265 cause further poor quality? There is also an iOS shortcut U can create to change codec from h.264 to h.265 on phone. You know enough about them to comment about quality? I know the h.265 codec compresses into a smaller file size. Thanks.
When shooting at 50fps I think you cannot use flow stabilization. Isn't it? So...depending on your footage, your movement, etc may be it is woth to use 30 fps in order to avoid rhe junky movements... Bu t in te other hand you loose the capacity to do slow motion. That is the only bad point that I find in the insta360 go2 (not providing the capacity to shot in 50fps and apply flow stabilization). Rest of the features are awesome!
Questions so if I don't edit the video with the insta video maker and i upload the videos to my phone the videos are going to have that circle image eye view can I upload the videos to my phone and them upload the videos to RUclips with a cable ???
Sometimes if I record in pro and turn flowstate on my video goes sideways. Is there anyway stop that? If I turn it off it goes back to normal. Even if horizon lock is off
update to studio 2021..i was on 2020 and same thing ..non options other than flow state..2021 has the options you see in this video..well for me it does
hello, when I export the app file to my iphone and from iphone to the computer program it is not PRO .. and I cannot edit the video .. can you help me?

Thanks for you feedback Boomer Mike! We covered frame rate, color profiles for individuals looking to color grade, around the 3:50 mark I demo how to transfer footage to the studio app, around the 4 min mark I show how to batch export and later I show how the app takes care of a pro video applying stabilization and aspect ratio. At the 6 minute mark I demo aspect ratio and how at 7 minutes I showcase flowstate statbilization and how I use it. Every time I recommend something is literally the tips on how to achieve the best settings for anyone looking to tinker with the video. Someone new to these settings might benefit from a glance at someone else’s workflow. Towards the end I literally share my export resolution settings for the best quality. If there’s an area that you have questions I would love to share any possible answers with you! Appreciate your time always!
That’s LOG for you. If you don’t need to color grade or do any tweaks then I’d say vivid color profile and that’s it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Thank Nice detail. But friends don't buy it. It gets hot in 10min and has no SD card. ( For me total money waste for seeing a nice Presentation) Note. before buy check the demo 30min.
You're the only reviewer showing the entire workflow... thank you so much for that.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!

Yes, I also hate that some RUclipsrs drag out content with devices. Y'know, making 5+ videos and make it 10 + minutes like we are idiots 🤦.

Thanks - just realize that some of the setting can be adjusted when press&hold the record button on the chage case.
This camera is amazing
It’s a pretty good camera for its size! Definitely impressed! 🤘🏼
Yap, picking up mine tomorrow, it cost 304€ here with 10000mAh powerbank included 👌😊

I would like to see a workflow to match footage between different cameras when shooting.. say iPhone and insta360 go
That was very useful video! I would imagine you can export still pictures from video. If so, how is the quality?
Can You do a video on how to edit the insta go 2 videos on the insta 360 studio?
getting close to 50k i see
getting close indeed! You've been here since the beginning!
Can you shoot 4k cinematic video on the Redmi note 7pro with Moza mini S gimbal ? can you find Redmi note 7 pro for video shoot please.
I noticed that shooting in 1440p 50fps results in more noise than 1440p 30fps when there is not sufficient lighting. Do you notice this as well?
I very very like your video
Can you do horizontal 360' stabilization in software and gain the higher frames 50fps in the camera?

You can actually shoot at 50fps Pro Mode and apply the stabilization in the studio app for computers. the one shot was 50fps.
@@EMTFILMS Thats great!
What does FPV stabilization look like when walking around?
It looks similar to the standard flow state but it does retain a bit of the normal walking movement.
Thank you for this
