Good advice. In all these shots the best result comes when there's something quite near the camera to emphasise the movement, even if the real interest is further back. You did mention that with one of these moves. As for crane shots, I've been playing around with ways to get a crane shot with fake tilt lock, and it can be done. One way that is very easy, but perhaps not totally obvious, is to stand with (say) your right side pointing towards the subject of interest. Hold the camera out in front of you on its side (using Pro Mode and thus horizon levelling)with the lens pointing to the subject on your right, then slowly raise your arm in an arc. The horizon levelling will do its job, and the arc movement will naturally keep the tilt pretty much locked. Easier than holding the camera in front of you and changing the tilt angle with your hand/wrist as you go from low to high.
Playboy great vid...as always....looking forward to trying out these techniques....since my boy just graduated I'm looking forward to taking this new hobby to the next level. I'm going to invest the time now into video editing and I hope with your advice it will give me an advantage . Thank you so much for all the work and knowledge you pass on to your RUclips family. Stay safe and be blessed .
Really good video! Loved it!! Do u use any specific lut for the footage? Looks so much better than mine lol Much appreciated if u could make a video about color correcting the footage :) Also, do u use nd filters? I have struggled to get a clean footage like urs ... I’m thinking that could be the reason...
Thank you so much! Glad you loved the video! I use a teal an orange LUT I created a couple of months ago. These clips where shot without ND filter at 1440p 50fps. Hope this helps!
I'm 1 of the 10% 👍. Great video! I'm curious what your settings are as the footage looks slowed down. Are you shooting in slow motion, or in pro mode at 50 fps and slowing it down in post? If in post, what kind of a timeline is that with at 50 fps (60% for 30 fps timeline)? Thanks!
I appreciate you for being on the 10% club! 😀 Foe this video I shot on the standard video mode at 1440p 50fps and rendered at 24 fps in Final Cut Pro (24fps timeline). Usually I do 50% playback for slow motion. Hope this helps!
why everyone not mentioning regards the 360Go 2 heating issues while recording & the delay time to continue recording after cooling down? not sure if I got the correct action camera :-(
Hi I have one question last month I bought DJI om4 but I have android phone and last week on my birthday I received gift that is insta 360 one X 2 so now iam confused as DJI doses not provide mostly features for Android so help me should I sell DJI OM 4 because insta 360 one X 2 is full packed performance
Happy Birthday! 🥳 It's definitely a decision you have to make based on the content you make. If the One X2 hits the spot then id go that route. if 4K is something you're looking for then id stay with the OM4 and Smartphone.
@@EMTFILMS ok thanks my only problem is android alswas I have to switch to primary camera even flimic pro does not work properly with my device I dnt knw why buty phone specs are really good
