I was 9 years old and my science teacher took us all out to do some environmental science. I looked up to her and told her "This is why the universe put me on earth to do environmental science". Now, I am 30 years old and about to start my last semester in my Environmental biology degree. Some kids just know what they want to be when they get older.
Two Tops Right There. I remember Morgan watching him on Sesame Street God knows how many years ago. Dr. Neil is my other favorite in Science. I so need to get across the Hudson to the Planetarium soon.
Let me tell you how popular Morgan is. Just go and see the comments in any (Almost any) Neil Degrass Tyson, and the comments are all about NDgT. And here, its all about Morgan. Morgan : Legend!!
"Primed to receive it" I always grappled with so many words trying to frame that to people... i'd prattle on about psychology, neurology, evolution (good berry/bad berry) to make a confused point about how "secret" doesn't always mean "I can't tell you", it also means "it is unknowable until your own curiosity takes you there" and that one has to have already done that for a few iterations before the question even emerges. I think that is why sciences can be seen with suspicion. What is that Nietzsche quote (learned from Neil).. "Those who are dancing look insane to those who can't hear the music."
More that just an actor, a very thoughtful man. I have not seen a movie he has been in that i did not like, but i have seen at least one that really woke me up. Having been treated for a form of cancer of the bone, for over forty years the bucket list was a real ringer for me, a wonderful movie about humans. I aslo like the fact that he is very level headed in his ideas about space, like why send a man when a robot will do the job, this way the ideas of space can move forward with each bit of exploration rather than stagnate as it has done. Most of all for me, and i think millions of other people there is one more very important factor that needs sorting out before we go anywhere and that is this stupid reasoning that says we allow some lunatic to side track huge amounts of public money without having to say what it is for down to the last dollar. I firmly endorse what J.F.K. said about the formation of NASA that being that it was for the betterment of mankind and tberefore should be crystal clear for them to understand, so truthfulness is first and formost in every bit of exploration, the idea that we cannot take it is just an excuse to lie which in many ways dooms space exploration to only finding out the bits someone else has decided you are capable of handling, to me its rather like life itself, there is good and bad in all things and when it comes to our lives i am one of those who really wants to know about my life good or bad, you can then condition yours self to accept what is put before you good or bad. I think the same applies to knowledge, if we do not know then we are open to all sorts of misconceptions about what happens next, where as knowing at leasts gives us the chance to come to terms with both possbilities. Really great video keep, them coming.
I agree no vid so sad there, but it's crazy spelled fine if you ever done time locked up. Don't test, just saying all is fine. Just think of online books. All is good not being locked up,so there is a perk. ✌️👍
Pic of chat shows you having 6 fingers on your left hand.... Me being left handed I seen your tough arm. Just seemed rigged imo. 😅 Love all your vids my friend, you are boss!
Neil is a fan of Morgan Freeman's voice and thinks he himself has a great voice, and he does. He even tries to deepen his voice more to make it sound better. But he salivates so much as he speaks. I don't like it.
I think Neil sees art as a competition, like what science is. Art in its purest form eg aboriginal rock paintings, is not a competition. I think that where Neil misses the point. Art for Arts Sake meaning, Art doesn't have to justify itself. But Science does have to justify itself. I create a flat earth painting, it's just an expression of an artistic idea. If I say to Neil that the earth is flat as a scientific idea, I will get told I'm wrong and have failed at science, no doubt.
Wow! I continue to click on these and continue to be disappointed. Where is the video? It's 2019! seriously, can we get folks in a room and record it? This is starting to become the norm, very disappointing...
I Will be honest with you. There's no God and if it where, , all of us would be his friends. I don't like Talks about god. I recommend talks about War, if you want to speak of someone who Cares about your life..

How is it going 2 years later?
No way.....want to SEE YOU BOTH in a Star Talk video.
One of the few men, magnificent human being I still respect to this day.
Neil:So you were a kid when that book came out?
Morgan: Oh nah I wasnt a kid I was in my 20’s or ,30’s maybe 40’s or 50’s 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
This should be called, Neil Talks with God.
no doubt... and how does this barely have 1k views!?!?!?
Hahahahahsh!! Right!!
Yep!
If we could “fuse” these two together and elect him president, this world would be a far better place!!!!
Morgan Freeman could take for 8 hours about a turd. and people would listen. best actor best voice ever.
If trump can be a president.. Morgan Freeman can be my God.
He only acts as God.
He’s just so “Morgan Freeman”! Never has there been one like him and never will there be another..
ok FIRST FKIN LINE from Morgan and you can tell, this man is Exceptional :)
You guys are an example of what is good about humanity. Thank you.
great convo! you can tell they genuinely get along.
How is this not on video? Its 2019!??
Its good to see how positive he is about the universe and life :)
Neil as a blackman I am so proud of you .you are a real role model for me an my sons thank you sir
Neil is half black...
@@PROTAGONIST_48 fuck you
Why as a Blackman?
James Anctil Sheesh he can't be proud of having a black role model for his kids? 🙄
Morgan Freeman is the best damn narorrator ever. In the world.
David Attenborough is pretty good as well. But I just like nature docs
I'd rather listen to Steven Briggs read a book, but Morgan has got the parts with gravitas down.
My most favorite part about Morgan Freeman is how he feels about God!
I can hear both of these men talk for hours.
The two greatest voices of our generation. Love cosmos and Through the wormhole.
We have two of my most favorite voices in the world here. And they're having such a fascinating conversation... This couldn't get much better!
I enjoyed every bit of the conversation!
Two Tops Right There. I remember Morgan watching him on Sesame Street God knows how many years ago. Dr. Neil is my other favorite in Science. I so need to get across the Hudson to the Planetarium soon.

Two world class humans. Excellent talk.
amazing men. amazing individuals.
Neil: I’m all penguined out!
Morgan: I’m not a penguin!
2 of the most intelligent people on earth
"Primed to receive it" I always grappled with so many words trying to frame that to people... i'd prattle on about psychology, neurology, evolution (good berry/bad berry) to make a confused point about how "secret" doesn't always mean "I can't tell you", it also means "it is unknowable until your own curiosity takes you there" and that one has to have already done that for a few iterations before the question even emerges. If only we could get Neil, Morgan and David Attenborough on a podcast...
“A conversation with Morgan Freeman ft. 20 snippets of Morgan Freeman in between”
Other than Neil, Morgan is my second favorite person to listen to.
How about David Attenborough
And James Earl Jones!
Morgan Freeman is the most good-looking man on earth, period....
He definitely has an unconventional handsomeness. (I mean that in a good way.)
Hasn't he aged well too? Look at that hair and beard. What a favorite of so MANY people, me included.
I love Morgan Freeman! Great actor!
Wow, the SJ30 max speed of 630 mph at a max altitude of 41,000. Fastest light jet in the world! Way to go Morgan.
I’m so excited that he’s still talking about Rendezvous with Rama. It’s a shame that Nolan took a bunch of its ideas for Interstellar
Amazing interview!
Of my heroes still alive ... these 2 men are top of the A list ! ( Morgan / science films , Chain Reaction.)
Enjoyed this very much.
A conversation with God.
we must record Morgan Freeman speaking every single word, so when he passes away, we will be able to use his voice to narrate cool stuff
Neil is soo freaking smart
More that just an actor, a very thoughtful man.

What is this? Where is the original video?
Why do I associate "thumbs down", dislikes on such as this with the trends to willful denial?
Very entertaining,, both youse are amazing 👍
No Video :(

I dont believe in gods. I do believe in Morgan Freeman
On a Warship, we don't have the problems we face in our present society..
During and after "Shawshank", anything Morgan Freeman narrates becomes gospel..
Randevouz with Rama is one of my favourite book ❤️
Morgan Freeman has been alive so long...he actually saw the Big Bang.
Hahahaha.
😂
I get to listen to the voices of both Morgan Freeman and Neil Tyson?
...excuse me while i cross my legs right quick. No particular reason.
Hey I remember him from sesame Street 😀😀😀 I am wrong it was the electric company ..wr ..ong ...wrong!

Two God Talk in this video...
Good repartee.

The numerous clips of his movie quotes were rather annoying. I don't need to hear abunch of stuff I've already heard. I want to hear the interview.
Smooth
Man, I thought chuck was cynical
"I AM AN ACTOR" wow :)
So too much gravitas!
Morgan Freeman. He is adamantly Bats drinkblood
Morgan Freeman is god in disguise.
Neil is a fan of Morgan Freeman's voice and thinks he himself has a great voice, and he does. He even tries to deepen his voice more to make it sound better. But he salivates so much as he speaks. I don't like it.
Through the Wormhole meets Cosmos. O_o
He bought all his planes himself, with his own hard-earned funds!
Sorry for long comments. F.
Non-Aryan space aliens-- what's this universe coming to??
While their conversation is excellent and so very enjoyable the ads make it almost impossible to enjoy.

Love you man. Just do not love you format on your podcast.

I just came to the conclusion that Morgan Freeman wants to get rid off his country accent...
hendrix
Wow! I continue to click on these and continue to be disappointed. Where is the video? It's 2019! seriously, can we get folks in a room and record it? This is starting to become the norm, very disappointing...

Kevin Patterson Its a radio show.... If you need video may I suggest Cat in th Hat... May be more your speed
Half of the show is playing clips from movies he was in. How about some actual content instead of filler
It was not half. It was much less.
I Will be honest with you. There's no God and if it where, , all of us would be his friends.
I don't like Talks about god.
I recommend talks about War, if you want to speak of someone who Cares about your life..
