    I placed timestamps below to help you navigate the video. Also, 22 mil layer is not the same as 22 mm where layer as mentioned in the video. Sorry for the confusion!

    It’s not a 22 millimeter wear layer. It’s a 22 mill as in thousandths of an inch. Building my first house now and should be installing the flooring in a couple weeks. As usual your video is right on time. Thanks! ✌🏻🇺🇸

      Congrats on building your first house! This final plank flooring is what a lot of contractors in my area are going to because it’s so easy to install and hold up very well. I’m glad the video was right on time for you. You are welcome! Be sure to stay tuned for more videos to come!

    I have vinyl plank flooring throughout my house. I love it! It's the easiest type of flooring to install. It gives the appearance of wood flooring without the expense. Plus, it's waterproof, unlike real wood flooring. For future reference, the side of the plank that you called the "tongue" is called the "groove" and the side you called "flat" is the tongue. You do such a good job with your camera work and instructions. Very professional.

    • @TheExcellentLaborer
      @TheExcellentLaborer  Месяц назад +1

      It is really nice stuff I agree! When I saw hardwood floor, it’s called the tongue and groove side. That makes sense in this case. It is not the exact same as hardwood floor. Thanks for letting the audience know. Good luck with your project!

    Another great DIY video. Detailed, comprehensive, and really well-shot. I'd love to see how you'd tackle vinyl flooring over a wood subfloor, especially an older, uneven one.

    • @TheExcellentLaborer
      @TheExcellentLaborer  Месяц назад

      I would do the same principal as I did in the video. I would address any major humps and bumps, but let the gradual unevenness go. I’m glad you really liked the video! Good luck through project!

    I love vinyl plank flooring, ive installed alot of it, and please no one ever buy "waterproof" laminate flooring, absolute garbage and pain to install, and will definitley fail in time. If your gonna buy "fake" flooring why would anyone consider laminate over vinyl plank? Basically the same price, it actually is waterproof, stronger, and doesn't expand and contract in different seasons anywhere ( tested as only 1/4 of how much laminate does so basically none) as much as sawdust made products lol. No brainer.....

    • @TheExcellentLaborer
      @TheExcellentLaborer  Месяц назад +3

      I agree with you! I’m not a fan of laminate flooring at all. It’s not near as tough nor does it with stand water as well as luxury vinyl. I agree with you it is a no-brainer! I used to think non-wood floor such as this would not look that great but I was wrong! It looks awesome! I’m glad to see your comment here. Thanks for watching!
