    This reminds me of an American dish called "Salisbury Steak"

    Cool! It’s exactly the same as meatloaf but cooked as a hamburger patty and the sauce is added last rather than cooked in.

    In this recipe do you use the Japanese worcestershire sauce which is milder and less sour than the famous Western L&P version?

    In reality, it doesn't matter if you add an alcoholic drink to a recipe when cooking, because alcohol evaporates as you heat it up. Though different drinks can tolerate up to different levels depending on alcohol potency, so if you feel a little uncertain, you can just leave it for some extra time (as long as it doesn't affect the taste in the end!) and enjoy. Have a nice day!

    Hi, thanks for your videos. I'm excited to try this one and the potato and meat fried one. In this video, you had said 1 part ketchup and 1 part Worcestershire Sauce. Is that like a cup of each?
    Thanks again♥

    Especially with the Worcestershire Sauce, this REALLY makes me think of Salisbury Steak, but also influenced by meatloaf. It's like a more convenient meatloaf with better seasoning like a Salisbury steak. Kind of neat to see what other cultures come up with after being exposed to American food, kinda seems like you took the best of our two ground beef dishes and made something better.

    Do you eat this with any side dishes? Rice? Sauteed vegetables?

  • @40racquel

    Hi again, ok, so never mind about my last question. After writing the whole recipe and steps I heard what the amounts were. However, is it ok to double the sauce so there is more sauce to add to the meat?
    Thanks again♥

      if you actually watched the vid, she states you can use whatever sauces you want. she even suggested other sauces as well.

    • @MidgarMerc
      @MidgarMerc 6 лет назад +1

      You can customize the sauces however you want. There's infinite variation. Some even just use Tonkotsu sauce which you can buy premade

    Yeah...much as I like trying out new recipes I wouldn't be able to use this one..I can't mix beef and pork together. If has beef in the recipe it has to be ALL beef and no mixture with any other meat or I get ill and have trouble keeping it down. If I used an all beef version of this I might be able to eat it..I'm not much of a beef or hamburger guy to begin with..much more of a poultry or pork guy. You should see the looks I get when I tell people I don't like or eat hamburgers, it's like the idea of someone not liking burgers is alien to them.

      @kiyonexus i'm neither vegan or vegetarian u dumbfuck. It's just fucking annoying that people have to mention vegans in any recipe video that includes meat. The same people are the ones the complain about vegans commenting on meat videos.

    not japanese food, but food enjoyed by japenese people sure.

    • @MidgarMerc
      @MidgarMerc 6 лет назад +1

      It's a staple in Japanese homes so might as well be. Most nations borrow recipes and something as simple as hamburg isn't really worth debating about.

    • @Heebu100
      @Heebu100 6 лет назад +1

      Hamburg steak was created by germans and brought to america where some stoned guy went "dude what if we put cheese and a bread on this shit" boom that's a cheeseburger. So, the hamburg steak is the precursor to the cheese/hamburger, and it was created by Germans. Food history you got it here first.

    • @Heebu100
      @Heebu100 6 лет назад

      Also most nations that borrow food usually know the difference between authentic and fusion, and know what influences come from where.

    • @restaurantman
      @restaurantman 2 года назад

      During the late 19th Century, the Hamburg Steak dish was introduced to Japan by German merchants and traders. It was further adapted into a Japanese version.
