This laptop could be actually the best laptop because the price is good. Cons like the trackpad doesnt even matter because most ppl use mouse anyways in my opinion. But the thermal system is a big tradeoff because there are many people who search for good specs in a thin laptop and this is the best one this year at tht price but they should have made the thermal system better like come on dell. Dell used to be goated and they still are in some ways.Hp is still dominating but dell fell off sadly. Their xps line is decent but many ppl cant afford it
I 100% agree with you. This laptop has more pros than cons (as seen in the review). It's build is nice, you can upgrade it, offers good price for the hardware it has but half of that gets washed away because they refuse to address there thermal issues which are one of the worst in the industry. The result is you never get the performance you paid for alongside other long term issues the heat build up brings. Funny enough thermals are not an issue on their business laptops (which make the bulk of their revenue) so clearly its a priority issue rather than an actual one.
Dell Latitudes and Dell Precisions are fine. Especially the Latitude 7430 to 7450 versions and 9440 to 9450. However, those are business lines. Dell makes sure they are built with higher quality materials and quality control.
Thank you for this honest review
Always!
Nothing like been honest on this kind of cases so that people won't make mistakes
Weldone
Is the trackpad still busted on these or did they fix the jumpy trackpad due to bad grounding issues?
Trackpad is stiff, wobbly and sadly cheaply installed.

7:13 Bro I don't think you used the word superfluous in the right context lol. Superfluous means "unnecessary."
Dell has been fav banned for the past 7 years ngl...i hope next year dell does some better product management.
