As a red head, I completely agree that you hate it when you are young and in school, but as an adult it's the thing I get complemented on. It's such a strange thing about society.
I don't know if it's the Irish DNA in them but Ed & Conan come across as so likable and down to earth people.

My father had flaming red hair that later became the most beautiful auburn hair I have ever seen. My mom was attracted to his hair and said she wanted to marry that man because of his hair and his stature. She had white blond hair, and he had red hair. When they had children we were all strawberry blond kids.
Wow the stage here looks like a big theatre stage! All the previous months I thought this is some big theatre until I watched today's warming up vid where they show what's on the sides and this room is tiny! Wow kudos to the camera operators for cropping this camera angle to make this TINY studio look like a big theatre stage!

My dad had very red hair when he was a kid and was also much larger than the other kids…nobody would pick on him because one time another kid was making fun of his hair so he sat on him in the middle of the hallway for a good 4 minutes before a teacher showed up lol

I love CONAN so much and just miss his show!
My ex was so anxious when i was preggo with our son. He has bright red hair (altho by 33 it was already mostly gone), and is shorter than average (5'5" - and my family is short) and was terrified our son would be bullied like he was. Our son is blonde and made family history by reaching 5'8". My ex had 3 girls with his 2nd wife, one red head, and luckily he was happy about that & had sense enough not to pass any jokes along, so the my son's oldest little sis is in high school and has never been teased about it, and sees her hair as beautiful and eye catching. ❤

You know what’s funny is that growing up with 2 twin red heads they were never made fun of for being red head. I also ended up going to the same university as one of them and we watched the South Park episode of gingers. Idk about him but I actually never heard of ginger and this whole joke of to bully them or soulless or whatever. We were just laughing so hard at the episode and found it weird this was something. Lucky for him and his sister I guess for never being made fun of for redhead.

That's exactly what it was like for me growing up. Now that my red hair is slowly fading, I regret not appreciating my radiant thick ginger red hair. At school, I wasn't a popular girl and to this day it is still effecting me and my self-worth. Unfortunately, words can be really harmful.
