@maxwellpetermen620 I've tinkered with a clutch in the game before and in concept it's a really cool idea but this game is really buggy at high speeds and it's super difficult to get complex things like a clutch to work, but I'll keep trying (:

@@RattusStatus Maybe add a couple of cylinders ? In theory, the thrust should increase and the internal combustion engine will be able to drag heavier objects. P.S I am studying to be a car mechanic.

@@RattusStatus у меня похожая проблема я просто сделал его двух цилиндровым, дело в том что если он возьмёт большую скорость то он просто вылетит, и есть ещё один не достаток из-за большой скорости детектор или лазер выходят за пределы и из-за этого двигатель начинает тормозить, а постройка довольно хорошая
I've tried to add a gear box and clutch before, but everything is super buggy at high speeds and I haven't found a way to add this yet. I will keep looking tho
@@RattusStatus okay buddy here it’s gonna sound crazy but if you don’t listen to how it’s built it’ll explode. If there is a hydraulic and a wheel and screw tool, you can make it, no your “clutch” won’t fall apart if assembled correctly as it uses the structural integrity of the car and engine for strength not itself, the part that should be touching eachother are, the engines flywheel, all the way to the rear axle. That way, everything will be rolling with collision. The wheels work like gears where once their hitboxes barely start to touch it basically becomes a gear due to collisions pushing the wheel. And boom, a neutral / clutch for you to rev up your car for best possible top speed. (Which is really good because gas power doesn’t really produce torque in this game. Yw!

Cause your gears aren’t big enough to handle the rpm’s, the smaller the gear is the higher the rpm right so if you’re only cruising at 60 mph with that gear, make it slightly bigger and to compensate for the torque, turn off gravity for certain areas to make the car lighter so that it can handle the buggy speeds.
And if nothing is like melon playground, I’ll buy people playground and help you out cause that’s all I like to do in these games, make engines and I’ve made very successful ones but the only problem with them is the collision of the gun (substitute for gas because even if gas were in this game I’d still use the admin gun for more power because it’s CRAZY stupid fast, but to make sure it’s not “cheating” the engine needs an idle speed (so it doesn’t stall if car were to stop) and it also need an accelerator (because even if the engine can basically run on her own without an extra sensor and gun, it’s too slow. But currently, I wanna make an engine with almost no collisions because I wanna start making real life ish cars so making a quieter without losing power engine is difficult but it’s why the mod shop exists in MP so I can just change the values of the gun I’m sure, and there’s probably an engineering thing to do for engine knock (ahem when your piston moves so fast that it actually shakes the engine aggressively.)
And also remember, engines use motors to start, so if you added one and then a clutch it would be one of the most perfect cars.

it does it automatically because it’s directly connected to the flywheel so the more it gets faster the faster the engine runs
