this video helped a lot, i normally make my own engines with no tutorials but having a engine i made by following a tutorial gives me the practice to jumpstart my ability to make engines and gives me an example.
compared to my gun based engine this is slower than the gun, but then again the gun engine is using 12 guns with 4 pistons aka 4 wheels and 3 guns stacked per piston thing and its upright so
if you take like 2 pistons and 3 bowling balls could you make a gearbox thing (the different gears of a car, i think its also called a transmission idk)
Not only that, they have the potential to rev the fastest. I've had one rev up to 1,100 to 1,200 RPM. So they're also up there in horsepower. If you use object editor mod and remove every delay, on the sensor and activation wires, you can bump the RPM up to 3,000 RPM! Crazy RPM speeds, I taught someone how to make a hover thruster engine in Discord, and he removed the delays on sensor and activation wires using object editor. And he got insane RPM.

idk why but the thruster dont want to make any force even with generators(when the truster is activated piston dont give a F**k about it and ignores that thruster is on
Your the type of person i was looking for, I recreated the model, and pretty much as you said, It out ran all my other engine, Even the best engine I had until this one. The best combination of rpm and torque. But it does not have auto start, I have to give it a push to make it run. But overall the best engine yet
It will auto-start on it's own, if you set the sensor at the top instead of the bottom. Then don't activate the hover thruster like shown in the video, it will start to spin on it's own. However it will significantly rev lower.
@@galaxia9215 Yea, the gun/launcher driven engines that I did in the past were very loud and kills tons of FPS. I dropped it as soon as I knew that Hover Thrusters were more capable. Sides, those gun/launcher driven engines were pretty weak compared to Hover Thruster anyway.
put a conveyor belt thing ( the tool that you use on the panel with the wires) select that and bind them together with the wheels of your vehicle so it could move really fast
@@ChromicalityV1 to make a version for a moving car just use the fixed cable to connect the frozen parts to the car (bonus points for making a whole shell for the engine) and then attach them to the car's wheels with the mechanical belt.

The engine runs ok without the generator, but then I turn it on boom, the entire engine stalls, like out of now here the shaft will vibrate and the engine try to "spin". But couldn’t. Please send me the download link. I want to know the measurements. I hope you would upload it and send me a link, thank you
@@galaxia9215 An HTE engine can only take limited amount of electricity coming from generators. Exceed that, and the engine can't properly spin, or will vibrate violently. *To fix that, you can make the metal wheel of the engine heavier by putting weights. Or, add more pistons instead to increase the power output, or double the hover thrusters per piston.* I recommend making the metal wheel of the engine heavier, as it's the easiest option. It also dampens any kind of vibration there, and also smoothens the RPM of the engine.
@@galaxia9215 Another, you may have set the sensor placement wrong. Fiddle around with it like setting it up and down, and see if it fixes it, or improves it.

For your next video could you show how you would use this in a vehicle
