So fun fact 343 Guilty Spark from the first 3 games was actually created from a human known as Chakas. Chakas lived on Earth and he had a part of the Lord of Admirals implanted into himself. A forerunner took pity on Chakas and let him become a monitor. Also the Halo you see in these clips is known as Installation 07 and its the oldest of the 7 rings. It was built at a site called the Greater Ark and this ring is 3x the size of the normal rings. It was a part of the original Halo array which contained 12 rings. The Forerunner AI Mendicant Bias hijacked this ring alongside the Flood and they used this ring against the Forerunners. The ring got recaptured by the Forerunners and Master Builder used it to test on humans. He ended up taking this ring to the Prophet's home world and activating it. The Forerunners considered this action a war crime and he was brought to the Forerunner capital Maethrillian to stand trial. During this time Mendicant Bias regains control of the ring and he runs off with the ring. The 11 rings that the Forerunners had access to were brought to the capital Maethrillian for the trial. All of the sudden the missing ring arrives to the capital under the control of the Flood. Master Builder aka Faber tries to save the people of Maethrillian by sending a temporary deactivation phrase to Mendicant Bias. He got the capital planet into defensive mode and had the council evacuate civilians. Shortly after Mendicant Bias reactivates and manages to gain control over most of the Halo array threatening to fire the array at the capital. Faber fights him back and manages to regain control of 7 rings but it is no use Mendicant Bias activates Installation 07 at the Forerunner capital killing most of the council and many civilians. This also damaged the capital's disks as it was essentially a coil of disks and destroyed 4 rings the other 7 evacuated to the Greater Ark. The Forerunners knowing there wasn't much time evacuated the Greater Ark to the Lesser Ark which is the Ark shown in Halo 3. Mendicant Bias makes it to the Greater Ark and the Flood begins to use a power known as star roads to completely shatter the Greater Ark along with the 7 Forerunner controlled rings before his ring Installation 07 was shot through a portal into a collision course with a planet due to a Forerunner activating the emergency self destruction protocol on the ring. He managed to stretch the ring around the planet and had to throw away a large amount of it. The ring now was the size of the newer ones we see in game. The Forerunners manage to finally regain control over it but Bias flees with his fleet of millions of ships. The Precursor essentially a space god stays and is killed by the Forerunners. He reveals the Flood were the Precursors who have returned to gain revenge on the Forerunners for their genocide against their creators the Precursors. Mendicant Bias causes chaos before being stopped by his arch rival Offensive Bias who's mission was just to keep Mendicant Bias from reaching Earth. He succeeded and the new Halo array was activated ending it all. The ring Mendicant Bias was using is the same on in Halo Infinite.
The terminals are hidden throughout the campagin so it makes sense to watch them right now, spartan ops happens after the story of 4 i believe (in spartan ops they will mention crimson team, thats the team you play as in the cinematrics we follow a different team)
