Your work is great to watch! During summer drought we use narrow necked bottles filled with water upturned and pushed into the soil around the plants that we wish to save. No water waste or evaporation.

Looking at your office, I had a few thoughts. The door to your en-suite could easily become a bookcase (as you’ve done elsewhere). Very appropriate for an office! As for the window situation, think about your furniture placement before putting a central window in. Having an uninterrupted span of wall might be useful for a desk, etc. it would be so much easier to make a window of the existing door. I love what you’ve done so far! Renovating a structure of this size and condition is an enormous undertaking. I really admire your determination.

@@FrinkyBaby Thank you so much. We had planned a bookcase for the door and the window height will be above the desk so will work very nicely. It's not a large window, in keeping with the rest of the house, so plenty of wall space will be available. Watch this space... It will take a while but will all unfold.

If you want to collect seeds a tip I learned is to leave the part of the plant that has seed pods on the plant. If it's hanging down that's ideal. Slip a paper bag over it, loosely tie the bag around the stem and then leave it. As long as it doesn't rain it'll be okay. After a few days shake the bag and you'll hear the seeds rattling around in the bottom of the bag. It must be a paper bag because moisture forms in plastic.

I was just going to suggest the same thing. You might have less viewers because you finish things whilst many Chanel’s change doing things in order to give viewers different contents. I prefer the way you two do it. Keep the good work going even though I’ll see the finish of it all as I’m getting on. Never mind, I’ll keep on enjoying your videos whilst I can.

@@Susan.I It's normal summer here and hot every day from mid June to Mid September with temperatures reaching 112F. We have air conditioning too you know, although in parts of the house we don't need it as it rarely goes above 77 indoors.

I watch many of this type of RUclips channel and there is a very common theme amongst all of them. Nothing ever seems to get finished. Always going from one project to another. While I understand weather conditions can dictate what you can and can’t do, it seems that generally a lack of planning and project management skills is an issue. Maybe this is due to a personality type or some other reason I don’t know. But it’s a very common theme for what ever reason. Not a criticism in any way, just an observation.
