Such a peaceful place. And you are doing everything exactly in its pace. Very sensitiv. ❤
I can just hear the barn breathing a sigh of relief to be made looking so beautiful. The red is so rich and vibrant. And that green door...awesome!!
I totally agree!
Fin dörr. Du har kommit en bit med allt. Inspirerande. Uppskattar ditt sätt att filma, nästan ljudlöst. Skapar en speciell stämning i ditt berättande. Endast vindens susning i bland bladen 🌱
What a beautiful atmosphere the place has. It’s so relaxing watching him work with nature just quietly getting on in the background. What a charming door.
Hi, Marcus. I can see that painting with the red paint is hard work. The building looks so good when you’re done😊
The paint seems to be working well. Don't forget to hug your brother!
The doors look good, took.
Whenever I'm undecided on paint tone, I always go with the darker. I've never been disappointed.
Det er så beroligende at se dine videoer.
Slow living helt uden " fast forward" .
Det giver en følelse af autensitet .
Og helt uden alt for meget snak. Ren mindfulness.
Tak og fortsat god søndag.
Tack!
In old houses in Sweden they did not put in double glazed windows, it was difficult and expensive so they put in two sets of windows. One set the outside ones could open and the inside ones were put in during the cold months to insulate. In between the windows you put wool often decorated pretty with flannel and sometimes different herbs or dried flowers, both to insulate and remove damp. In more modern times these types of windows were replaced with more modern types. It is so nice to see that this house still has the old ones left and that Marcus is keeping them and renovating them instead of replacing them.
@@carinalast7535My only question is about this system, how do you freshen up the air inside during the long northern winters? I open windows daily when I get up in the morning, to let the stale “used” air out and let fresh air in, even in the winter!😧🤔
Köp en stor S-krok så kan du hänga färghinken på stegen och slipper fara upp och ned med penseln hela tiden.
Eller bocka en stor spik 😀
EXCELLENT ADVICE🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😊
Vackert 👍🏻
Thanks 🍃🌿
💛 your doing a great job lad. We love watching you make things better. Stay strong and humble. Enjoy the flowers 👌🍻
Hi! You do a great job , but it would be better finished if you remove the paint arround the window glasses🤗
Hello Marcus! Works progressing so far with your cabin! The summer is here. I like your green entrance door. You watered a new planted tree!! Any fruit tree? Best regards.
Yes that’s a cherry tree. I’ll get another fruit tree but need to figure out which one to get
👍
Beautiful video.
Why dont you have an "S" hook and hang your paint tub on the ladders ?
It saves getting up and down to put paint on your brush.
🌼
Why do try so hard to remove the lupines from your property? Here in the eastern part on US we try hard to get this to grow.
A question regarding the windows:
Are all of the windows closed all the time during the winter? So you can never open them and let fresh air in? Seems quite terrible to me. Or only a few of them?
And on a general note: you have a beautiful place there in Sweden. And it gets better and better. 😊
Re: Sticky Windows: The dowside of water-based paints like latex is they take a very long time to cure. You put them in, and they fuse together. :(
💚
May I ask....why did you boile the paint?
It had frosen over the winter and when boiling the paint it ”comes together” again and is possible to use.
And the white paint?
Why did you paint the windows yellow? it doesn't match the rest of the house, it looks stupid.
🤷♂️
How rude……not your house!
Tell me it wasn’t you that painted all over the glass in a sloppy way…
This is actually how it’s done, because you want a small rim of paint on the glass to seal the putty and wooden frame. Once the painting is done, one carefully scapes off the excess paint to make a clean border on the glass.
It's amazing what a coat of paint does, good to see that your paint fix worked well.👍
