- HEY LOOK AT THAT - the first animatic i have EVER (technically) FINISHED. although its short this is literally the first time ive finished all i set out to do sooooo...kudos to me :D
this isn't anything particularly lore related and its probably out of date by the time im done but im so glad i got to learn how to use davinci a bit better. figured out how to work transitions and things (kinda). anyways WOOOO its DOOOONE. its probably only done because i have a cold and stayed home and kinda did this instead of doing work 👀

in this video i draw minecraft youtubers that aren't dream, tommyinnit, wilbur soot, technoblade or philza minecraft. i draw grian in my own angsty way being angsty on hermitcraft season 9 with watchers oooo watchers evo lore minecraft evolution oooo edgy edgy angst

This made me feels like the rift is comforting Grian, reminder to both miserable and nostalgic memory
Its like a drug almost?, i mean using the rift as a comfort space is dangerous, cause spending to much time there might make him lose some of his memory in the recent world
And yet. Everything that comes out is weird and distorted. He wants his gumbot back. He gets grumbot that is evil and possibly killed his grian. He wants to see his friend that are not in hermet craft, he gets his friends that don’t remember anything about them. This is scary because what if he wants something like a other version of himself. He might get him from the 3rd life/evo smp. That might bring in the watchers. Even though grian is not going for this type of ark with him needing the rift as a drug, I think he will go for something along the lines of don’t mess with reality.
When I first saw the rift I thought it was apart of the watcher lore since it's purple lol.
Guys is this lore from Hermitcraft?
that's what I'm watching now, I just finished Evo but I still feel like I'm missing something

This art style is so good. I especially love the frame at 0:25, it just looks so nice and fluid. The marbling on the rift looks fantastic as well! Oh, and the way you draw Grian’s wings! Honestly just the whole thing in general is fantastic lol. Wonderful art!!!

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this!! The frame at 0:35 is just beautiful and chilling at the same time. The art style is so satisfying to look at, and the way this flows gives the perfect sense of mystery and power. Absolutely amazing.
I love the touch of galactic, and that it actually means something instead of just a bunch of random letters i have seen so many people do. it was fun to work it out to. the art is also just beautiful.
I've come to the conclusion that since Grian is a watcher, he was never supposed to interfere in any universe. But he did interfere, he joined hermitcraft, evolution, empires and all the life smp's. Because of this, other watchers want to get rid of him but they can't since they are also not allowed to interfere and Grian is way too powerful for them to handle. So they send Martyn to kill Grian in his human form but he has failed everytime till now.
Wow, I have all sorts of complicated emotions from watching this.
I love how innocent Grian looks in this and how it is like as he listens and watch the eyes across the walls, he gradually goes smaller and smaller and feels more disappointed in self for he feels smaller as every eye watches him. I love how the rift is almost making him calm down like as if it were like meditating, just making him more comfortable and calmer. I love the art style and it always amazes me. Based on the fact the note from Empires to HC got changed, it's highly probable we will see 3 different stories emerge, the Hermits that didn't go through wondering where the others went, the Hermits that go through getting stuck in Empires due to the risk of going through, and Grian going through the Rift (as he has presumably done already) to try to figure out a way to bring the Hermits back to HC

Very few times do I see the thumbnail actually be as beautiful as the video but this definitely was. It was calm and slow but still I was very interested just by how good your art was! Keep up the amazing work❤

Can someone explain where the watcher lore started I’ve been watching since middle of hc 7 and yet I missed it. Was it in third life? I never watched that specific one
It started in the EVO SMP. There’s bits of the lore thrown around in other series. I know Martyn brought the lore back in Last Life. I don’t think there’s any Watcher lore in Last Life, but I may be wrong.
