Tbf, I think it's more Austrian than German. It's a national dish there and Vienna is pretty famous for it's "Wiener Apfelstrudel". You get really good ones in every café, much better than our's here in middle Germany.

I used to love spaghetti ice. When I was there in the army we trained in Hohenfels and an ice cream truck would come into the barracks and we’d all run like kids to it. They had the best spaghetti ice.
