Yes, absolutely get that bag. The people who watch because we like what you do (the vast majority of us) aren't going to be turned off by having sponsors in the videos; especially knowing that it's directly helping you do the thing we love seeing. Hell, even if you were just pocketing all that cash for yourself, absolutely go for it. As long as it doesn't turn into a Heavy D situation where the whole thing is an ad, and you continue to be open and honest about it like you have been, there should be no issue with you getting paid for your work. DO IT.

Your generosity to stranded people by giving them free recoveries, ensured that I was eagerly watching your videos every week. Little did I know that your paying job was heavy haulage recoveries.
Look, mate, you deserve to get sponsorship by those people you deem worthy, because it is your generosity in helping others for free, that sets you apart from other YT creators. I wonder how many of those who complain (” the haters”) of you doing sponsorships, would put aside their own free time, to help others, for no payment.

If some sponsorships can help you better live into your vision for your channel, I would wholeheartedly support that. As others have already pointed out, I think you've done a really nice job of establishing yourself as being authentic and giving honest opinions - having a sponsorship doesn't have to change any of that, at least in this viewer's mind. If it can help you to help more people - and even hopefully help you and your income, too! - I would have no qualms sitting through a sponsored ad.

200K is a flag that potential viewers or sponsors notice and if sponsorship helps your business then go for it. You're brutal with products you've tried out that disappoint, and please don't change that. Those that you allow into affiliate links will continue to get positive attention. Not so sure about weird things like energy drinks and food supplements but we can get past that with HeavyDSparks because the content is always highly entertaining and potentially dangerous. (They were messing with piping a hot spring the other day).

Casey, I think I just figured out why I like watching you. Besides all of the cool stuff and all of the neat rescues your focus is right! When your focus is on others what you're doing will be just fine!
As a work smarter not harder guy the fact that you painted both hooks instead of just one (unless you have more than 2 red hooks?) kinda blew my mind. Always fun learning more YT stuff from your videos. I think we would all "watch" a sponsored video or two if you could start doing free helicopter tows. Between you and Mater I think a click and view is always happening because you both make it interesting and informative and entertaining.
Painting them takes a short time. Let's be generous, 5 minutes (even though we've seen Casey paint the blue one in 45 seconds). Remembering "was the red one yellow, or was that one blue?" will keep bugging you every time you use it.

In case I didn't say it when you hit 200k subs , congrats ! For those that watch and haven't subscribed , whatcha waiting for ? Missing great scenery , tours by Casey and at times also Grumpy and Ben , shenanigans , great information from Casey , shenanigans , seeing great places , wait , did I say shenanigans ? , oh yeah , shenanigans . In all , a great channel ( don't forget to smash the tar out of the like button ) . If you feel that you need to have sponsors , go for it ( it helps pay the bills ) , I'm not bothered by channels having sponsorships ( fab rats have them , and so does auto auction rebuilds ) .

Casey, I think you have to choose as far as the sponsors goes. I can see some of them may be an enhancement to your channel and not annoy people, but it's a very fine line. I sponsor you on Patreon because I wholly believe in what you are doing with it and the direction that you are wanting to take it in, but you have to be honest in your goals and not try to overdo yourself in that arena. I also love the free rescues that you do, but I also understand the fine line balancing act that you have to maintain in order to do those recoveries. In the end, it's your channel - you do what is necessary to provide for your family, and I'm sure we will still be here watching you.

100% start doing sponsored videos. You are a genuine good guy that just wants to help others. If by adding a 60 second sponsored clip to your videos will allow you to not only have a bit extra for yourself and allow you to help more people, then 100% go for it. Scroll through the comment section really quick, most here seem to support it. And as I continue to watch the video, if once every few video you need a longer video, then do it so long as they pay your appropriately!
I don't have a problem with sponsored videos at all and if they are a big benefit to your channel and what you are trying to accomplish I fully support it. The ad's that are not your sponsor are the ones I get tired of. Let's don't starve at the ground and kick rocks, lets step forward.
I'm one who subscribes to RUclips so I don't see any of their commercials. When I watch someone like Heavy D I skip over the sponsored section so I'm not watching any ads of any kind. I just enjoy all your content, even this video so keep doing what you do. You are serving others to the best of your ability and that is what draws most of your viewers in my opinion. I watch for your interactions with everything. Insightful, interesting, and even educational. Doing an integrated sponsor piece in each video isn't a problem. The problem would be if you went outside your scope to hawk something. As long as you keep giving us your unpolished opinion of stuff and not 'this is great, buy it, they sponsor this channel' crap I occasionally see on the channels I watch (I have unsubscribed to most that do) most of us will stick with you. We know you want to help people. We get it. We support you. Give it a whirl and ask for feedback. The haters will add comments driving revenue even higher. 🙂
