A great attempt to educate people. Out of the 19 or so sects of Buddhism existing on the qorld today, 17 come out of Nalanda. This brings to fore an important issue of the government acquiring such areas replete with ancient culture and after the excavations a proactive effort should be made in conserving and preserving the finds with adequate on site protection. Once again tremendous effort. Hope to see more of it.

hi sir, i was so surprised and celebrated when i saw your video popped up in my you tube, you are extremally respected and adorned by me, my mom and my partner as they also participated in your lectures when i use to attend your classes online. . since we are at the topic of Buddhism, i was born in a Buddhist family and i was exposed to it since childhood, however it was majorly my father use use to teach me about it while my mother would teach me the rituals and sutras we practice in it....but after my father got bedridden and is unable to guide me further, i find it hard to accept how i didn't value his teachings as child and understood the depth but now when i do he is unable to.....when he was fit he was trying really hard to get a source of whole "tripitaka'(hard copy)....i have few books that hold small abstracts of it... so if you know where i can get the English translation of the Tripitaka...please please please let me know where and how can i get it cause it would mean a lot to me.
okay, at the end of the video i am crying and mourning at the lose and as an Indian Buddhist who's ancestry goes way back in the time of still being Buddhist then, i am well aware of how UNAWARE my community is about their own religion while just taking the pride of 'of we are an Indian Buddhist community' SMH.
