    LoL, glad those bloodworms helped. I was surprised when I found out how well mine liked them and how well they grew after they had them.

    3:12 I think it might be an injury rather than a deficiency due to the other snails not having splits? I take it similar to if you injure your fingernail and it doesn't grow back the same. I have a similar snail (might even be my snail as it is the same size and color???) as it had a split and never filled the gap despite the other snails being fine in their shells. 🐌

    Your videos are entertaining. You should think of monetizing the videos to make some money off this!!

    Thanks for all the information! I love your choice of music too. I find it difficult to know exactly how much to feed both cories and mystery snails. I do feed them extra stuff besides what I feed the fish but not sure still if they are okay now that you mention yours weren't so active...?

      Cory’s fight for their right to party. They’ll even eat guppy fry. They’re fond of algae wafers, or anything if it’s heavy enough that the other fish can’t deny them. It may of seem easy because I keep them with ottos and I’m always establishing biofilm with a product in those tanks. My latest happening for mystery’s is the third recipe, I’ve seen phenomenal results but only the 3rd one on this page. petkeen.com/snello-recipes-for-healthy-snails/

    18:54 I can't tell if the blue cover is supposed to look protective or offensive? Could try and hang them from strings, which could also look sound protective or offensive?

    8:18 What kind of substrate is that, or is it just clean sand? Also, once in a while mention the size of the tanks for those not familiar with your room setup (as cameras don't always show good perspective).

    Love the video, so what's the ratio of Epson salt to gallons of water

    • @BrentonsFish
      @BrentonsFish  Год назад +1

      1/4 tbsp to 4oz of distilled water. Dash of garlic guard. Half of that applied via pipette to a portion of tetra xl granules feeds 21 tanks for me, 5 days straight - should start seeing results after 2 days. Made fresh works better than freezing it for me.

    12:46 If you have CO2 available, you can seal off the top of the container and gas them. The CO2 should't hurt the plants much (keep a small light on them at least), but it will hurt the bugs. ☁⚡🦟

    24:09 Let the special needs fish have a job getting rid of the mosquito larvae so they can feel better about themselves?
    If you rather not give the special needs fish a job, why not put a breeding pair of bettas in there and drop the air bubbles? 🦟🐟
