What a beautiful way to teach painting….one gets brainwashed learning certain ‘right ways’ and ‘wrong ways’. Is there a ‘wrong ‘ way for any medium? You have made me realise that there isn’t…uniqueness and one’s own little technics is what sets us apart from each other. I have a newfound joy in looking forward to practicing your energy and freedom of painting. Just sorry you are not still doing the odd RUclips video. Thank you 🙏🏼
😊 Hi Kevin, Just found your painting demo, and thought what a raw and punchy approach to painting. This seascape definately gives the feeling of being at the seaside and watching the waves as they crash among the rocks. Love the way you stormed into this scene just like the wind was very impressive.😅
Oh Mr. Kevin! Until my mood improved when I watched this video. Wonderfully! Tomorrow I will try to splash the paint a little. I am terribly tired of not having the courage to even try to paint like this. I just paint evenly and simply. Although my head is full of ideas, my hand, which is only a tool, does not want to listen. As if it was not mine :)) Thank you for the hint and showing the direction. Best wishes.
So lively and textural! Wonderful demo and painting! The main inspirations I feel from your videos is to really push myself, to experiment more with abstraction, and to see shapes, a word you use often like a constant reminder. Thank you!
Just watched your demo....what an inspiration you are......love this style & am going to give it a go! Love the looseness & the way you attack the canvas! Naturally I've subscribed!
Wow Kevin, this is amazing! This demo was brilliant! Painting is fun and playful and cool (as are you!) and watching this made me feel like I could take a big deep breath! Thank you
This is FABULOUS! #1 You are having a bushel of fun, #2 I LOVE the questions you ask, they are same as I ask myself all the time, #3 But Better is the answer, "I don't Know"! #4 I felt the 'splash' just right of center didn't cut it and evidently so did you because you came back at the end (what is Sugar paper BTW) and punched it up. Thanks so much, and yes I subscribed.
G'day Gerald I try and go with the flow and once something is established let the heartfelt emotion take over from the brain department analysing too much and the question, is this working. But never stop looking. Sugar paper is common here in the UK. Softer and more absorbent than cartridge paper. Many colours. Great for charcoal, don't know constituents. Cheers
