    Thanks Tyler! It's not fun to do drills but riding without these skills means we are only repeating our bad habits. I will implement this and try to get better. I remember James Stewart making people ride without their seats to make them ride standing up. lol!

    Love it! I got on the wait list.
    Ive been seeing these videos for years and even though I don't have much seat time due to work, everytime I ride I think back on the techniques and with the measley 5 hours of seat time this year, I've vastly improved.
    Cheers from Indiana man!

    YAY, i never really use the clutch, i allways try to be in the right gear 🙂 standing and feet on the pegs is really good, i tryed that after youre fist video about it and it really imrpoves and also takes away a bit of the fear of tilting over. can you tell how to break throu a comlpete corner? since we drive a lot of single track and there we often have long down slopes with lots of curves and throttle is not really an option there 😉 also I love youre videos and were is the 2 stroke guy? i like him, he is crazy like me. i also have a 250 2 stroke.

    Hey Tyler, I started riding 3 years ago. I saw your video where you said that you shouldn't overuse the clutch in corners, so i never touched it. Sometimes I feel like there are some spots on certain Tracks where you would need it. Can you make a Video talking about on what situations you can use it to bei faster. Thanks, I really like your content!🙌🏼

    I like technical riding the most. Rocks, logs hills and I got in a bad habit of ridding my clutch. I would use it everywhere and caused arm pump from hell. Getting better now of just letting the bike do the work but still a challenge. Catch my self in corners using clutch all the way thru very often. I will blame it on being on a 2 stroke.

    Thanks for lessons!
    What about that part when you give more throttle to catch your bike instead of put your foot down.
    Here's the sandy track where I ride and giving more throttle on turning going outside kinda sends me to a drift and more likely I lose traction completely, happened to me already few time, when I ride standing.
    Is there something about wrong body position, leaning angle or any other general advice you can give without watching someone's riding? 😇

    what i do is every time i go to the track i run 5 laps standing only hitting inside lines the 5 standing laps only outside lanes just to train my brain to stand up mate and sit down later in the corners then stand back up right out of the corner

    My son is 15, 5’11”, about 270 with enormous calfs. I got him motocross boots and he’s having a wicked time getting his toe under the shifter on his CRF250F. Should I just bend the shifter out more so it clears the case? It’s as high as I can get it now. TIA!!

    • @basedandblueballed

      i would bend it but try to reinforce it so it doesnt snap

    • @23DMOTORSPORTS
      @23DMOTORSPORTS 2 года назад +4

      No, there shouldn't be any need for bending components. Its either not set right or he needs to adapt his style. There's plenty of videos about setting up levers to suit.
      Good luck!

    I like to stay in 3rd gear in a lot of corners and I ride at budds creek a lot but sometimes I have to fan clutch to get back into the meet of the power just to get up and over the jump that’s right out of corner I’m on a 2020 yz250f so would you consider that bad technique or is that ok to do when needed? I only do it on tight sections where second gear isn’t enough to get me over the jump and not enough time to try and click up a gear for my slow reaction time lol
