I was saying before that I love how cute MS's plastic makes their figures look. In this case, I find it much more soothing to look at than the New Age or Siege figures, and it looks pleasant to handle! And funny, because aspects of the transformation remind me a lot of the siege figure's. I'm not sure if I'll be picking this fellow up, but I'm so glad I got into 3P Legends figures with Magic Square. And I have you to thank for pushing me in that direction! I only have four of their figures but I think I've played with them more than I've played with any other figure in my collection.
Very true, MS is my go to fidget toy, especially some earlier bots that I recently picked up during the black friday sale, simple and fun, reminds me of 30 years ago playing with G1.
@@OptimusLegends And the feel of the plastic when tabbing things together is often really soothing, so I appreciate it. And hey, maybe one day I'll get the opportunity to play with a G1 toy!
Thank you so much! I wish I could create longer videos to cover more details but they are just super time consuming, it's about 2-5 hours of work per minute of content on average, I really need to find a cure to my perfectionist habit, it's really struggling.
I think the way you deliver is the best style of reviews nowadays that we need. Its enjoyable. Short but give maximal informations Im so glad found your channel
I wasn't as excited for this release when the first pics came out but the more I see this colour version of it, the more I cant wait to have it!! Thank you for doing this review and taking the initial photos!!! It's a gorgeous figure and to hear your review of its playability, I'm even more excited for it! Magic square fan for life!
Hopefully mine will come in within the next week as it's been sitting in California since Dec. 6. For $60, it's a beautiful figure. Not as good as my NewAge but that's way more expensive. Overall, a nice, easy and straight to the point review.
I think it looks good. But the 2 tones of whites bother me a bit. Looks like the nylon parts are bit more yellowish. Nice to have more than 1 choice for Legends scale Jetfire, personally I'll go for NA version for their finish and proportions.
MS-B46 still has to be my favorite MS release due to me liking prime so much, but this one is definitely up there! Jetfire’s Autobody origin is a classic.
Very nice review and awesome figure! Really liking your videos, hoping we'll see lots more in the future. Can't wait to receive my copy of Skyfire. Only wish MS would give some more info on the alternate helmet.. Is there going to be an upgrade kit including the alternate helmet, boosters etc.. or is it reserved for an A-version of Skyfire...or isn't it going to be released at all? Nonetheless, this is an awesome MS release!
Huh. Using those cannons from Ultra Magnus...makes me wish that Magic Square did a red set of'em; it looks very Macross/G1 toy inspired with'em, akin to Iron Factory Cygnus/that TNT01 oversized KO of Iron Factory Cygnus...even though on the Magic Square, they have to go on the wings, which isn't entirely accurate.
Why is magicsquare's website cheaper with shipping than other popular sites? Also where is a good place to ask these silly questions? I'm new, is there a discord for collecting?
Can you please ask magic square didn’t include the Jetfire head (with faceplate)? Thanks in advance for the consideration and share of the answer. I know in my case, it really bothers me this is not included.
I didn't ask, but I do have the test mold sample which did come with that plate. Honestly, i don't think they should include the faceplate until they find a better way to changing it, now it is a hassle to exchange the plate, unscrew the head, replace half of it, and reassemble, it's not fun.
How's the white plastic on this figure? Another Chinese reviewe said his copy has mismatched white on various parts of his body and some sloppy edges on the plastic.
Now that you mentioned it, I actually found it, never noticed this before, the knee pads and the skirt armor plates do look like having a warmer tone. It's easier to spot under bright sunlight, harder to see under studio lights which i set to 6500k. Interestingly enough, when I compare this to the testing mold sample, the warmer tone on the white happens to correspond to the light green parts, which are exactly the knee pads and the skirt armor, also the hands, but not as obvious, so I guess these parts might be from another injection mold, or using material with a different mix. And if you are familiar with MS products, the plastic flash is a lot better than before.
I've got the NewAge version but I still bought this guy and I have Takara Tomy's Masterpiece version on pre-order. I'll probably keep him in jet mode while my NewAge stays in robot.

always enjoy your reviews - I just wish they were longer! I could watch all day! You’re the best TF reviewer on RUclips !!

@@OptimusLegends totally understand- I’m just being selfish! :)
Thanks for all the hard tedious work
Another great review! Now I'm patiently waiting for MS Combaticons

MS should should make these figures into MP scale after the combiners... That Hound just looks good
I love it!
Literally that one kid in class who hit puberty before everyone else in class: 0:17

Congratulations on 3rd party companies coming to you for reviews!
at this point your the magic square embassador
Awesome review! Did MS share any info about the alt head they had in prototype form?
Are we getting a Megatron 2022 video?
wow you already got MS-B27A Soundwave, it's come with Lazerbeak ?
No it doesn't.

I wonder if the mini figures from star wars micro galaxy squadron fit in the cockpit.
I saw diaclone dianauts work with it.
I hope you will do other reviews other than MS. I mean they are cool but there are a lot of figures that need some reviewing 🤪
My wallet allows me to go for a more budget option, really couldn't afford MPs or FTs, even NA..

Does the re-release of soundwave come with lazerbeak?
what cliffjumper is that?
Which Optimus prime was used in the intro because the windshield is different
I think powerglide was the 1st jet for the Autobots
How tall is it
Do you know why they decided not to include the other head for the final product?
Do we know full price for this figure yet?
It's 60.99 before shipping @ magicsquaretoys.com, you could check it out here: magicsquaretoys.com/product/ms-b47-meteorite/.
@@OptimusLegends thanks. I thought this was for release on December 10th, since I pre-ordered it but haven't received any email to confirm payment yet
Is that MS-B27A Ripple? :O
It surely is. Should be available soon.
I prefer the NewAge version, but this look good as well.

Gerwalk mode looks horrible but nice effort from MS
