Nice video and Merry Christmas 🎄 Both of them look great, but as a MS collector I'm choosing MS Skyfire. I just like the typical MS proportions better (personal preference). Both have their pros and cons. MS gets a lot of big head comments, but I think NA has a small head for the huge body. Also worth mentioning is MS Skyfire has a outward wrist hinge and you can raise the neck joint to create more range for downward look capability.
I'm the opposite as I like them both but, I like my NewAge Skyfire more. To me, I just like the plastic NewAge used compared to Magic Square's. It feels almost like a luxury toy. I like this plastic more than the one they used for Optimus Prime 2.0 but mine looks like it's been played with as there's two different color whites with one being white and another that's yellowing, almost like when the toys get played by a kid with dirty hands. Also of note, this is typical Magic Square as some of the plastic isn't cut cleanly. Then there's the gaps, not Hasbro bad but, still gaps whereas there's no gaps with the NewAge Skyfire.
Hi Deluxe! Great comparison review. Both are great in appearance in primary and Alt modes. I like the hip feature on NA. I wish both come with blast effects. I like when you say Tips McGee, Crappy Grommet VanDamme all day everyday and Roll Tide! Love the end of the year school pic! Lol.
Any cartoon accurate mold of Skyfire is just awesome, I'd get both of these if I had the budget. Awesome review, you are awesome! I loved the 'I put in tits-mcgee because I like to say tits-mcgee' hehehe, you know what you love!
I'm going to vote for the NewAge. The jet mode looks more streamlined. Especially on the frontend nose area! The MS nose area is too big and squared. The transformation on the NewAge is better engineered. Having the arms fold into the backpack is genius!
I’m curious: do you just have a lot of funds for your hobby, or do you get some love from companies or patrons to buy so many figures? You have almost all NewAge versions -and- Magic Square ones! 😮
NewAge gets the W, IMO. Better materials, better face, better scale (what’s with the stubby legs on MS?). MS having functional wheels is a big plus in its favor, but otherwise its all NewAge. That said, without a comparison, MS is still excellent.

I've just ordered the Newage version because it is easier to find, but also because I will only display him in jet mode, and Newage wins here, especially with the nose.

MS has 2 different white plastic colors which bother me a little. The nylon parts are a bit yellowish already which I worry about getting worse over time. The NA white just looks more consistent and uniform, gonna go with NA. Both are excellent options. Thanks for comparing them.
@@Anduril1974 All white bare plastic yellows over time. It's just MS products haven't been around more than a handful of years yet. But that's what I didn't like about the MS so I bought the NA version. If you like the MS, you do you bro. But no white unpainted plastic stays white after 10-20 years.
I think I'm starting to become like you don't care about the scale I just want a cartoon look but I just don't like how the paint looks on some of the magic square ones the only magic square I have is the stunticons and might get bruticus
NA's is too tall, the head is too small, the backpack is too thick, they cheaped out on the non-wheels, it's the more expensive figure, and when they've painted on top of a different colour paint it looks off. MS all the way for me. Better proportions (it's much better in hand), better articulation, actual wheels, two cockpits, preferable method of swapping out logos (more toon accurate), better backpack, fewer visible screws, gaps and panels, and, if your a MS collector, he fits in so well with the other figures.
MAGIC SQUARE: PROS: 1. Second cockpit opens up to reveal a seat. 2. Landing gear has actual tires. 3. Painted gun. 4. Face sculpt looks badass! (He looks like someone stole his energon sandwich, lol) 5. Nice detail on the bottom of his feet. 6. He can judge you. (He can point his index finger 👉) CONS: 1. Gummy plastic. 2. White plastic looks 10yrs old already! I hate the white plastic that MS uses on their figures because it looks oddly greyish and dirty-like... 3. Hole in cockpit seat. 4. Short stature. (Skyfire should be huge!) 5. Removable chest plate means that it could be lost... It's also borderline parts-forming 👎 NEWAGE: PROS: 1. Better quality plastic. 2. Better gun sculpt. 3. More detailed cockpit seat(s). 4. Proper height. (Skyfire should be huge!) CONS: 1. Face sculpt has no character. 2. Landing gear on his shins is an eyesore. 3. His second cockpit is painted and doesn't open up. 4. No rolling tires on landing gear.
Feels like Magic Square had all it's proportions squished. New Age is buy far a better figure. I feel like Magic Square is going to yellow really fast due to the plastic.

MS' plastic doesn't 'yellow' over time. They are just two slightly different tones. Barely noticeable.
