    The new Dash, the EPAS (Electric Assist Steering) and Centrifugal device on the Torque Converter in the 2017 Holden Colorado are carry over technologies from the 2016 US Spec Colorado.

Holden has gone downhill for the last 15 years. Theres a reason these cars are shit, look at user reviews and not these shell companies that work to make reviews purely because its in their sales interest.

      @Drivecomau  8 лет назад +4

      Kevin is spot on. Ute is short for Utility Vehicle - which was essentially a sedan-based pickup (like an El Camino). The Colorado is really a pickup truck but we just call anything with a tray a ute. And yeah, we shorten most words too. Even Kevin is too long - you are now, and forever, Kev.

    4x4 reviews should be done by a expert/professional 4x4 road tester. Not saying Paul didnt do a good job because he did but when it comes to off-roading some more thought and skill should be put on camera. Sure a rear diff locker helps but all you need is low range, right tyre pressures and the right line. Modern utes have a good traction control system and that itself can get you up a small steep hill and even steeper ones.

      I remember the cars (Lumina and Cabris by Chevrolet) 1999-2000-to-13 maybe (the years). And I live in Saudi Arabia. The weather is to much hotter than 50 degrees Celsius sometimes. And these especially two cars were always broken up in the middle of the high-way. Radiator problems,air condition problems, electrical problems .. So, I was asking and surprised by the Chevy company's cars are monsters and strong. asked what happened to it to be manufacturing crappy cars like these. And people were telling me they're Australian manufactured cars and soled to us by Chevrolet in our country ...
      And I don't hear a lot about products made in Australia, so ...I can't judge all Australian manufactures that they're all crappy, OK? Or are they? (Because I don't know).

    The stickers were designed in Australia and that is it. The engine is too small at 2.8 Lts and its max torque is at 2000 rpm - at 2500 and more it drops off which is disgusting for towing. This is the characteristic of every diesel engine. If we pass higher than 2000 rpm, we should shift to higher gear to lower rpm and get more torque. If your transmission is automatic the computer will command to higher gear over 2500-3000 rpm.

    I am sorry to say this is more like a rip-off, kock-off, pirated, fake Colorado. It is the same as the brazilian S10(where I unfotunately live); Looks like a carbon copy of the cruze and its generic variants. s16.postimg.io/ekr9uni8l/20160906_153720.jpg

      Holden, Chevrolet, Buick etc are all the same company - General Motors. The same/similar car is sold in multiple markets under different names. Holden in Australia did much of the engineering work on the Brazilian market S10 too.
