His pronunciation is generally exemplary, but not faultless. See Duda pronounced by Poles. It sounds very close to non-native Poles, but worlds apart to native Polish speakers. As the grandson of Polish-American emigres I hear my grandparents speak glowingly of J.K. Duda with an odd regularity.
Alekhine, Fischer and Kasparov are 3 the geniuses with a style dynamic and aggressive yet with amazing positional awareness and defensive control. These 3 were dominant for a reason.
I think that Alekhine definitely deserves a saga of his own. He was really innovative and artistic throughout his career and brought a new life into the game...so #Agadmator would you please :)

Hello Sir, thanks for your great comments/ analysis for every game you feature in your channel. You are among my favorites in these chess commentaries.. My suggestion is that , like this one, if you are to present Alekhine playing as black, then I think it would be best to flip the board so we can see it, on black's perspective. I think we can appreciate it more if we see it from the black side of it... More power and keep up your good work !

Set up the position at 12:47 into a Chess PGN maker, and verse the computer on the highest setting as white. I've been trying to win, occasionally using the machines advice, and always using the game evaluation to know when ive lost my advantage for about 30 minutes now and have been unable to get more then a draw.
Ayyyyy finally managed to beat the engine, managed a mate in 81 O.o turns out wining king and queen versus king and rook is actually REALLY difficult...
If you search around you'll sometimes find his name spelled as Aljechin. I read several books back in the 1970's which spelled it this way. I'll leave the pronunciation up to you. @@lilsquidward2266

Even though it Nb4 was played in the 'pre engine era', the idea is actually viable according to stockfish 12. After Nb4, white should play Rc1 (only move) and you can simply play c5.
You need a powerful cpu to analyze this game. Intel i9 or ryzen 9. In 1:51 Computer makes people believe Nb4 is a mistake because in year 2000-2010 low end computers don't believe that it is playable and so that is why people today doesn't play it anymore.

B:c5 is check, so white has to move his king (which he does). He has no time to capture at d7
The white king is in check from the C5 bishop so queen captures on D7 is not a legal move.
