Cory Taylor is a very talented dude. Listen to Stone Sour- Bother. Amazing song!
Yeah, he's versatile and has great covers too
steven ernst yes yes yes!!! :)
I play Bother on my bass whenever I get drunk and the depression starts to set in. It really helps.
steven ernst agree. Love that. Also love Song #3 off of new album too n video is so fun. Snuff live will always be my favorite. Especially Corey singing alone.
@@slovak4life1991 Thats Dope
The dark haired guitarist is James Root, another member of Slipknot.
But he's no longer in Stone Sour since 2018
@@tauqeerhussain3586 he's been out of Stone Sour for longer than that.
VelvetKevorkian I wouldn’t say it sucked as much as it was just extremely boring.
He was part of the band when this song was released. I haven’t heard Hydrograd yet.
Posted this exact same thing then noticed you had beat me to it
Stone Sour - Bother
This song showcases Corey's singing ability.
Yes!!!
watch the live at Koko in London!
@@MegaAxelus Singalongs always annoy me, the Koko one is good, but the crowd ruins it for me. But to each their own!
Bother is an awesome song, but it far from showcases his ability....
@@joblow7606 lmao are you serious? You can't be that dumb.
This was Chester Bennington's favorite song, and corey played it for him at a concert(think it was either the day of or a day after his passing) to honor his memory
Thank you Chester my hero ❤️
I didn’t know this fact. Thank you for this.
@@andrewcassidy2458 🤝
Dude i am glad that you finally reacted to Stone Sour. I suggest you to listen to Bother, 30-30-150, Say you'll haunt me, and Tired.
30-30-150 for sure
Myrddin Taliesin yeah you‘re right! My bad! :)
Yeah no one ever reacts to any of their heavier stuff..... one of my favorites is hell and consequences
oh and absolute zero
@@ToolFist598 Any time I listen to Absolute Zero, I have to combine it with Gone Sovereign if I'm going to "do it right." Then I have to put on House of Gold and Bones Part 1 and 2. I have yet to get the graphic novel. I just don't have the time because I'm afraid I'll have to do it all again when I run across it.
Get Inside & Inhale are their best songs.
I’ve seen Corey Taylor without the mask plenty of times and he still looks funny to me with the long blonde hair.
Yeah the long dark hair is alright but the blonde is not a good look for him
Yeah, that was kind of a bad hairdo for him. LOL Much better half shaved!!
Yes. Very much yes.
Slipknot - Eyeless!!!!!!!
insane, am i the only motherfucker with a brain?! 😎
Ok were Done here You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eye!!!!!!
Dave Hron I’m hearing voices and all they do is complain
TheComicBookJoker how many times did you wanted to kill?
Yes... please
Listen to from can to can't...its a collab with Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl from foo fighters, Rick Nielson from cheap trick and Scott Reeder.
Best video of the decade!!!
I love Corey's voice in this song. And the Rick's guitar play is almost beyond compare
Corey Taylor'svoice is undeniably great!!
clysuss 1989 his voice has so much emotionality in it that his expressions w it are amazing on any song including his covers like Wicked Game
Peoria illinois own “MUdvayne”- HAPPY “ or “A WoRLD So Cold”.
Not falling 😍
'Dig'
Determined- workout playlist essential for me
I miss that band.
Anything off LD50 really. A personal favorite of mine though is IMN.
Right when he says "an epidemic of the mannequins, contaminanting everything" he shows the Hollywood sign. This song hits so different after the awakening I had. And looking at you through the glass (the tv screen) and we are all lost in it and the "stars that lie to you" are all the Hollywood celebrities that we idolize and worship, and they are some of the most evil and deceptive people. Great reaction brother, take care!
You make me laugh at least once during every reaction. I’m always smiling at the end of your reaction vids. Thanks for that.
Love your reaction videos King, you nail it. I like how you balance the commentary and music.
Should listen to - where did you sleep last night covered by Kurt cobain on the mtv unplugged live show one of the best live performances I have ever seen
i second this vote. . one of my favorite unplugged performances< nirvana and pearl jam tied >
@@Blizzard0fHope will have to listen to that haven't heard it before
@@gd-on4ti absolutly do . . was a fantastic. . . annoyed mtv a bit though cause nirvana actively chose not to play any of their hits for the show. . and only a small handful of their actual songs. . instead they covered a mess of songs from bands that influenced them
Yes please review more nirvana Preston. We need more. Nirvana is great, come as you are and smells like teen spirit aren’t the best songs to judge the band off of. So many great songs and check out unplugged. Even live and loud 93 any of those performances.
YES where did you sleep last night and then scentless apprentice it will give a good contrast of the band
need to do alot more stone sour. . lot of great stuff
This post will be buried, but do something from Rush! YYZ, Limelight, Subdivisions are my suggestions. YYZ is an instrumental song, a true classic. Limelight is a song about fame and how it can affect negatively. Subdivisions is from the start of their synth era, describing life in the suburbs and how one might not fit in to the concept of that. Rush reactions tend to always get high view traction too.
I'm not exaggerating too much even if I say that most of progressive rock/metal bands have mentioned Rush to have been one of their influences. This is especially true for drummers across all genres, as Rush's drummer Neil Peart(Who also writes their lyrics) has been considered the best for decades. That is debateable of course, but his impact on modern drumming is unmatched. Geddy Lee(Bass/singer) is also constantly seen on top10 bassists lists. Here are some bands that you have reacted to that have mentioned Rush as one of their influences: Metallica, Dream theater, Pantera, Tool, Foo fighters..
Worth checking them out man, keep it up!
From Can to Can't - Sound City Players. Corey Taylor on vocals, Dave Grohl on drums!
AMAZING RECORDING SESSION!!!!!
Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune
Yes! YES! YES! This song has been one of my favorites since it came out, still listen to it EVERYDAY!
Please listen to Stone sour - Bother!!!
Yes please my fav song!
give this a like for jinjer-pisces (live session)
I'm waiting for this for so long to happen :D Jinjer it's amazing band
Was done by nearly everybody. It's lost it's aura
Tatiana's voice ❤
@@ruofhatem thank you. They have other songs. Great songs. Why does it always have to be Pisces?
Waiting for this
Another authentic reaction... it's all I ask for. Keep them coming.
Song *always* makes me cry. There's something about Corey's voice that just hits a special place inside my heart. The man has been part of my darkest moments and brightest.
Still waiting on that Chevelle clincher though
Any Chevelle will do. I say Family System...or maybe Dont Fake This.
What a coincidence, I was hearing this song in my head this morning. Cool that you are reacting to it.
I remember requesting this a minute ago damn am I happy you reacted to it
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing!!!
Alchemy live version!!!
React to stone sour heavier stuff like Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero or 30/30-150
Red City.
Fuck yea!
Get Inside
Fabulous, that's one too, and it holds up to its name
Amazing Song, amazing lyrics, amazing Video....and of course one of the best Singers in the Metal Genre.....thanx for reacting....so much more to discover in his Solo Project......
I'm glad you finally reacted to Stone Sour! They have so many good songs! I suggest reacting to Say You'll Haunt Me, Bother, Song #3. There's so many others too, that's just the ones I can remember right now!
Definitely Song #3, great suggestion
Soooo many great Stone Sour songs you could react to...Made of Scars, Hesitate, Taciturn, Taipei Person (Allah Tea), literally entire albums that deserve to be reacted to. Glad you get it!!!
Each time I hear this track I stop everything and turn it up.Great song nice reaction very cool
Dude you're Killin it the last 2 days
Damn Preston, bringing back the memories!
Just watched your Cinderella review now stone sour.
The good ole days!
Hell yea preston now you see the other half of corey taylor!! This dude has an amazing voice!!! Havent watched your reaction yet! Im pumped.. here we go!
speaking of a perfect circle..... bruh.... we need more
Commenting before watching, this song helped me through the dark days of getting sober. Mad respect to Corey and slipknot and stone sour
BOTHER- STONE SOUR
BOTHER-STONE SOUR
BOTHER-STONE SOUR
this is still one of my favorite music videos ever, love the imagery and it's the production is very well executed
also, since I just watched the rest of this video, Stone Sour was actually created by Corey before Slipknot! Fun facts for you my dude
Ha, big up for the Eric Thomas intro. I stumbled across one of his videos a year ago and sampled some for a hip hop tune I made. Good reaction man !!
The lead guitarist is also Jim Root, one of the guitarists from Slipknot. He was with Stone Sour from thier formation (before Slipkbot btw) until 2013.
And a addendum. Not sure what you're doing differently with audio recording from video to video but, this one sounds natural, full sound. A couple others I've gone to have sound very "tinny" like cheap headphones/earphones audio. Just something to be aware of. Love your reactions, man! Love the honesty in them! And your sound effects are fun! Keep on rockin'/bangin' man!
Opeth - Sorceress!!!🤘🤘🤘
You’ll love TRUST!
Love this song, love Opeth!
First time I heard this song I was amazed how versatile Corey is.
He has a lot of awesome covers from other famous artists where he shows his other musician facet.
These guys are so talented ♥
Another great song my guy
Pink Floyd - Brain Damage/Eclipse
Andrew Peters and time
He did Time..

SLIPKNOT - SNUFF
Great song & great reaction King. I love this song. Corey Taylor is an awesome lyricist & storyteller. Btw, the guitarist with the semi long hair & white tele gtr is Jim Root. He's also in Slipknot. 2 for 1 bonus there for u. ;)
You're videos rule man! Just wanted to stop by and let you know.
Dire Straits-Sultans of Swing or Brothers in Arms or Private Investigations
Sultan's of swing, is one of the greatest tunes, ever. Imo.
And van Morrison "into the mystic".
This is that song when you see stone Sour live everybody sings and the crowd sings half of it themselves and it's that magic moment you only experience at a live show
Dropped a line to say:
I always try to guess when the "Hold on bruhh" moment will be for you, and to say, I appreciate your take on music in general.
If you ever consider doing a "full album reaction", Stone Sour's "House of Gold and Bones" part 1 and 2 are concept albums that tell a story and later songs will call back melodies and themes from earlier songs. The songs are good by themselves but when they call back, it's a deeper dimension of enjoyment.
If you're doing individual songs, Say You'll Haunt Me, Tired, Do Me A Favor, Bother, and Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero (if you can watch a video that combines these as one fades into the other)
CMFT!! Corey taylor is easily my favorite artist, for the sheer diversity of his vocal talent, as well as he just seems like an awesome dude to hang out with based on how hilarious he is in some of his live shows
I agree with you 💯. I love his solo career, everything you said is completely accurate. I would love to see one of his solo shows live, hilarious humor, incredible vocals and musical talent (that'san understatement), his interaction with his audience, his backstories and comments before and after songs, etc, that would be amazing!!
I love it when brothers are getting into metal. Makes me smile.
Love watching your reactions, give animals as leaders "cafo" a shot. Much appreciated!
Pleaseeee do POD - Youth of The Nation
Interesting, right? Great to see artists with dimensions. Another band with a lead singer that has dimension, and is a heavy influence on Corey Taylor, is Faith No More. You should check out their song Super Hero Live from the BBC.
I like your chain bro!
One of Stone Sour's best songs in my opinion is Inhale. It's got some edge at the end.
Dude for real, you REALLY know how to appreciate music. I love you’re reaction videos. Big tool, Perfect Circle, NIN fans. Those are my favs but every rock reaction you’ve done love all those songs. Every time I try to introduce someone to any of that music they’re just like “mehh” but anyways my point is hurry up and do a reaction to Orestes! Damn dude! And when you do, do live at red rock! You’ll know they for real and really appreciate
Dooo ittt! Orestes! Live! Stone and echo at red rock! You will love it! Man I swear I will post this message on every video you do till you do it, I will be that guy.
Great job
I didn't know that , Nice job
Stone sour - inhale
One of my favorites. This song gets me in my feelings.
Also the guitar player with long hair is Jim Root. AKA #4 from Slipknot. Playin his fave Telecaster. And I think the blonde in the cowboy hat is C.C. Deville from Poison.
Another great one from Stone Sour - Song#3
So glad you did this song . Love it . Did you notice the Hollywood sign sad “HOLLOWood” ? Song is about how the industry is so fake and people pretending they like and care about you, but don’t really want to know what’s going on for real! Great song !
This video and song has something that catches you from start to end. Paraphrasing Corey, he said something like "...with Stone Sour I do more rock and roll music and with Slipknot we unleash our inner beats". He said that in an interview with Larry King, probably you will like to check it.
Corey Taylor did the vocals for 'From Can to Can't' with Dave Grohl, Rick Nielson, and Scott Reeder that is a great song and also shows the talent of Corey beyond Slipknot or Stone Sour. Best song on Sound City - Real to Reel (a compilation of different contributors).
Blind Guardian - Mirror mirror | Bard’s song (In the forest)
Avantasia - Reach out for the light
Theocracy - Hide in the fairy tale
Kamelot - The Haunting ft Simone Simons
Helloween - Straight out of hell
Demon Hunter - Not ready to die
Demons and Wizards - Fiddler on the Green
Powerwolf - Sanctified with dynamite
Tengger Cavalry - Cavalry in Thousands
Jim Root, the is the lead guitarist in Stone Sour that’s also from Slipknot. Corey Taylor and Jim Root are the only members from Slipknot in Stone Sour.
Where did you sleep last night MTV unplugged - Preston you have to do this one it’s epic!!
YES Preston, you finally got on Stone Sour, you've reacted to Ghost Love Score and Poet and The Pendulum, it's time for The Greatest Show On Earth.
King ktf hugs from Brasil our friends from my state like so much your reactions but we need a chance to Trivium
Trivium Shogun
Trivium krisute gomem
Trivium the deiceived
The Deceived is my favourite Trivium song. Seen them live 6 times! My girlfriend is actually Brazilian, from Fortaleza. Much love from Ireland!
Chapman Studios is pure brutality
@@Ronocos TKS man iam from Rio de janeiro 42 yold and like so much the Power of Trivium and the Metallica style in your songs.
And If you do not listen jinjer make a test in these Band
Love your videos! Unfortunately this isn't the studio version of the song so there are parts missing : (
Dude, Corey Taylor’s got one of the most power voices on the planet. He has beyond impressive vocal range. And that’s a fact.
Hell yea we want more stone sour bro.
watch the live at Koko in London of the song Bother from Stone Sour, awesome crowd!
Corey is w Stone Sour and Slipknot as he says he gets bored easily. He loves being able to do the rock sound w Stone Sour n harder w Slipknot. Really recommend off new album; Corey’s looks change all time; Song #3 ; Snuff live ; especially if you see one he did after Slipknot member Paul died. His voice has so much emotion in it. He’s so bright as well that lyrically his songs are so great. Love both bands for different reasons. Thanks for doing this. Love your reactions. Please do those songs. Especially Song#3 off new release. Has his humor as well. He’s also written two books. Great cover Corey recorded is Wicked Game. Bother is another great song.
Hell yeah....love this song. It's a different side to Corey. Im about to go on an anthrax binge lol. Which I would definitely love to see you dig into some of their stuff. Like anything off their albums spreading the disease or among the living. That would be dope to see you check out.
Actually Stone Sour was his first band. He joined Slipknot after. Corey Taylor is an amazingly talented artist! He's done a ton of cool collabs- I really like "I'm Not Jesus" with Apocalyptica.
First time seeing KTF not stopping video :D only once at start :D KTF, you weren't interested in what was going on in the video? the reason of the song? :P
Definitely have to listen to "Bother" by Stone Sour now. Also, "Made Of Scars", then "33/150". All great Stone Sour songs.
Many people don't know that before joining Slipknot, both Corey Taylor and Jim Roots were in Stone Sour which is actually the original band
CmfT’s side project is slipknot his original group is SS... he’s a legend! Great reaction as always... peace
It's about time bruh
The members of Slipknot have said recording Slipknot records is like therapy for them. Corey is not the only Slipknot member in Stone Sour. He uses Stone Sour to show his more melodic side.
Maynard James Kenyan's name is pronounced May-Nerd. Oh, and React to Anesthetize by Porcupine Tree.

I can't believe I've never noticed the sign actually says "Hollowood". Classic.
I always liked the Slipknot video for "Before I Forget" - it was before they were "unmasked" - but there were glimpses of them in extreme close up - it was a great tease.
It's His Thick Ass Neck , Great Reaction...
This Song is BadAss , Stone Sour is BadAss, This is Cory's Band Before Slipknot , And while in Slipknot He got The Band Back Together...And as of Today He is The Vocals For Both Bands....
