@@betweencadclasses Haha! I think we're all guilty of that! Oh, you're right! That is how he did the slot shape and holes. I only watched his video 3 times and TBH, it was so fast, it was kind of hard to tell what's going on. Lol! I think it's a cool way to learn new methods, design approaches, tricks, etc., as well..
Nicely done. I agree with what you mentioned regarding speed modeling vs actual drawing. The purpose of speed modeling is to draw in the most efficient way not taking into account design intent, proper sketching, or proper features.
Lol loved the video and loved the commentary! Great job - VERIFYING now!
Thanks Toby!
Nice! If I submit again, I might have to borrow your method for locating the slot and holes on the last part.
I cannot lie, I "borrowed" that method from Ali LOL. It is fun to watch others and learn new techniques!

I actually teach and coordinate a CAD program at a community college, so it hurts to model for speed sometimes! Still not as fast as you though!!
@@betweencadclasses I am also a CAD instructor and modelling the way I do in speed modeling contradicts with "how" I teach.
@@ali.ammouri that's hilarious that we are both doing the same thing! 🤣
