Didn't think I would like the cruise control but absolutely love it and good for that guy for inventing it. Kudos to him and hope it's patented. Good job all the way around Taco Moto
Mint! I have husaberg fx450 that ive put on the road, all the same problems (and dings) hahaa but ive built an 18" rear wheel and im decided on these tires or tyres for you 😊 anyway THAT was my perfect review cheers my man im off to fit a twin fan kit
@@TACOMOTOCO that is definitely a better than stock part. I'm still not sure how to set it up. I definitely will be getting it because in the winter I ride with alot more gear and weight than I do in summer but the in between months i bounce back and forth, sometimes daily.
I’m the market for a 500 right now, would like a 24 for the improvements but not much for accessories available yet. Maybe a used bike or a leftover 23 just not sure what makes the most sense.
O got the throttle lock but it doesn't work well. I have odi v2 lock on grips it fits fine but it moves to much and quickly slides the throttle back. Even with extra friction tape
It’s helpful when installing an aftermarket oversized tank because the modified angle of the inlet is favorable for hose routing. We’re prototyping two new injector connectors we’ll be releasing for use w aftermarket tanks each with a dif outlet angle specifically optimized for the hose routing of aftermarket tanks. We won’t be making any claims that it cures any cough and stall issues or changes or improves performance in any way because they don’t. Those claims are bunk. It will only provide a better angle of attack for the fuel line improving hose routing and will be a little eye candy as they’ll be a trick piece and anodized in blue, orange, black and red. They will come in a kit w pre formed hoses specific for the tank / bike they’re intended to go on.
Is there a weight drop over the stock pipe, I assume? Just wondering if you ever weighed. I was thinking of going to factory for noise reduction, acknowledging that I'd likely lose some power/performance, just don't wanna take a huge weight penalty.
Is the Husky tail section the same on the 501? it was plastic in the past but I thought the KTM was stronger? Does TrueNorth make a rack for the 501 as well?
When my KTM EXC goes forward through my legs in a wreck, I don't want the aluminum rear plate to cut either of the insides of my thighs on the way through, sharp looking to me.
mmmm, when you crash your dirt bike at speed there's any number of a thousand things that can and may likely jack you up. sure that's one of them. the couch is much safer i suppose then.

@@TACOMOTOCO Thanks I was thinking the same thing, looking for a better way to route the fuel hose from a big tank. I will look out for your connectors
Really enjoy learning and seeing your configurations BUT one thing drives me bonkers!!! You have all these engines/exhaust options and don’t let us hear them??? Come on man! Lol

He’s got a great device and I’ll tell him you like it🤘🏽
Some nice new products. Fastway makes a pretty sweet rear rack. Solid Build!
Great idea for the plug and play fuel line. I've been struggling with the line on the FE501 W/ Acerbis 3.9
So amazing. I can appreciate when someone doesn’t nickel and dime and just spends all the money.
so true right!
Thanks for explaining all the details.
awesome bike, I have 2017 with 15l acerbis tank but use only soft luggage from giant loop.
giant loop great is among the best out there
I would love to see you guys do a 20-21 Beta 500 RR-S bike buld. I think that Betas dual sport line up is going to become very popular.
really great bike and we'll be doing some r&d on them with some build this summer!
Agreed and that's what I'd get. But none around here until at least Apr/May so I'll likely end up with an EXCF.
Nice build. Like your upgrades and the rear rack. Nice! Thanks.

I wish there was more explanation of the shock preload device. That is interesting.

It’s an X trig.
Will buy this one day....

Where's the Trailjammer case saver???
it needs one!
Expect to have my bike with you soon for upgrades 🤩
Rack looks like a TW200 cage 😆

How many hours/miles can I expect from a mousse setup? Is it ok to use for those road sections?
I see that you guys installed the Bestdualsportbikes fuel rail. Does it make a lot of difference? Great built by the way.

Do you guys use the old "Santa Cruz" and "Maui and Sons" logo font and art for your logos?
On tarmac what would this comfortably cruise at? Thanks
What is the KTM tranny shift cam update? Is this what the 2021 bike new features list as an "updated shift locker"?

Awesome setup! I'm in the market for a bike just like this, so if you see any that look like a fair deal please let me know Mike!
Will do!

What is the total cost of the elements in the list ?
a set up like this is somewhere in the $8-10k range in upfit components

Is that a BDSB fuel rail in there?
