those high notes and shifting are going to kill me
same qwq
I'm first trumpet for this part and I also I have to mentor the French horns because I play both as my primary instruments. I learned the trumpet and I'm the section leader in marching band and the honors band, then the French horn I self taught myself in 8th grade and I act as a mentor to my fellow horn players because they have issues with tonality and hitting certain notes on occasion. So I really have to focus on those two sections all the time
So in short. I agree. It wasn't that fun.
@@cyberwolf5075 you sound like a stereotypical trumpet player
@@winvinyl2425 valid
If we can pull this off for our winter concert in school, it’s going to sound awesome, but if we can’t it’s going to sound awful. Our music teacher has guts.
This is the super hard version, I love it
It’s actually not even hard lmao
@@lindseytaylor3793 I would say that technically this one is harder than the Alfred Symphonic Pop Band Version...This Orchestral version has a crazy weird key signature at m.97. While the strictly band version has a manageable one at 97. :)
Well put.
Played this my senior year and I had the clarinet lil solo part thingy😌 beyond fun
Love being 2nd clarinet and being so lost because you play nothing anyone else plays the entire time😭👍
My favorite piece I've ever played!
currently doing this for concert band at my high school, so fun😁
same! it's so fun
Soo excited!!!
That's amazing.. wish we were doing it for ours :)) enjoyyy!!
Same here

Senior year of High School! We're doing this! The trumpet 1 part is *chef's kiss*. Sounds like a chop buster being our last song among multiple other 7 minute songs (new director) but I LOVE IT.
Favorite Christmas movie (cause the score is soooo good!!) also playing this for my Highschool band concert👍🔥
Allison Jones yo my high school is to. I’m so excited!!! 😆
Me too
@@abbywojtowicz2997 Mine is in like 13 days and im still like asscheeks ayayaaaa
@@asterito1653 mine too I just realized 😄 so cool
Excuse Me sir how is this only a Grade 3!?
either a very hard grade 3 or that isn’t right, it’s gotta be a 4
Everyone:"hey I'm doing this for my high school concert,"
my brother in middle school: yes...
my college orchestra is doing this in about 3 rehearsals lmao
Dude I played this exact music with my middle school band
Except our direct put some of his own music in to so each instrument had some great moment like my clarinet
This sheet music is IMPRESSIVE : -O
In musical terms what is the low brass doing here at 3:28 - 3:36 ? I'm curious because I love when the low brass does this
There’s no musical term for it they are just playing regular
I need that flute solo
Absolutely dying trying to learn this 😩😩
Piccolo squad!
Love it
I quite like this piece, though first trombone is really challenging 😅
Played this my 7th gradr year, first chair trumpet...
7th grade is wild
@@user-dl5ks1fl8t Yeah bro shi was crazy
Dude, the key change at measure 97! That isn't even in the concert band arrangement. Honestly kinda glad there isn't. I'd hate to play F# major.
Hinsdale central orchestra will like to play
Don’t you love being first chair alto😂
how is this grade 3? least it could certainly be is a grade 4, or higher. Unless this is like a grade 3 for advanced professionals.
o allora sono fa'tastici
F# is killing my freshmen tuba mind....
Being low brass is whacky with all those sharps
yo this aint no grade 3, atleast a 4-5
Full orchestras are rated differently than concert band pieces
