Really good tutorial. It wasn’t mentioned in the video though but if you are buying pvc pipe yourself, either buy it pre cut to dimensions shown in video or if you buy pvc pipe in a hardware store they usually come in 10 foot pipes, you would have to buy 2 10 foot pipes or you would run out.
I am 47 years old and I really want to buy this waffle ball set and ill have to make this strike zone or maybe use a lawn chair till I get it. Thanks for the instructions on how to make it I am looking forward to so much fun with this set.
Is that regulation for the sport? It seems really low. Well below the knees, or is the strike zone different than baseball? I know baseball is knees to numbers. Basically knees to mid chest.
We really looked at it from a cost-effective standpoint. If you're looking for something that's cost-effective, you should go with the corrugated board.
@@tpbaplastic Well, I bought 7 But I can always get more. Thinking about making another with 1" pipe in the future too. Easy build. Kids love it. good job on the video
Tpba Wiffle thx... I have 1 1-4... I followed some other tutorial that included sheet metal and it ended up being overwhelmingly huge so I’m following your to get it the right size
@@tpbaplastic Lol. I'll sub if that makes you feel any better. If my squad gets better I'll throw out a challenge. Just name a time and a place. We'll be there.

What was a total cost?
Just bought everything at Home Depot, they cut everything for me. It was under 30$ thx so much bro!
Glad we can help!
Did the prices go up? Online the total shows $86.22

TPBA Plastic thx
im glad im not the only one who builds things in their backyard while wearing flip flops
You have to be comfortable I guess 🤷🏾♂️😂.
Thank you for this video. We made it in under an hour!
We’re glad to help!
Thanks for making it easy for us!
No problem!
Is that regulation for the sport? It seems really low. Well below the knees, or is the strike zone different than baseball? I know baseball is knees to numbers. Basically knees to mid chest.
We just based it off the average height of our players. You can adjust the legs as needed.
This worked awesome! Thanks for the video!

Thank you!
Well done. Thank you!
Great video 👍
Thank you, we appreciate it!
great video it helped me a lot
I recommend getting 2 more PVC pipes that are about 20-24 inches for the base because the one here is the perfect height for people 5’4
I keep getting stuck on step 4 for hours
😂
do you know Christ .
Beginner here...but what's considered a ball and strike? If the ball contacts the PVC is it a ball, or is that part of the strike zone as well?
Beside the legs, the pvc is considered a strike.
Did they make mistake here? I only count a total of seven poles. Am I missing something?
the eight is for an extra in case you mess up.
Thank you so
Much
Where did you find that corrugated board?? Having a hard time finding one
Home Depot or Lowes
How long are the tubes in the beginning of the vid. Looking for how much pvc I need to get
The PVC pipes in the beginning of the video are each 2 ft. long. Since the cuttings add up to approximately 13.5 ft., we bought 8 of them to be safe.
Tpba Wiffle thank you so much! 😁
Where did you get the 20 x 24 corrugated plastic
Home Depot or Lowes
@@tpbaplastic thank you
@@ryankavanaugh5647 i also got mine from Ace Hardware
@@Diglettprods Alr thank you so much
Is it the width of home plate? Looks a little bigger, just wondering
We think the width is just fine 🤷♂️
is the corrugated board better for the inside or something like sheet metal or leather?
We really looked at it from a cost-effective standpoint. If you're looking for something that's cost-effective, you should go with the corrugated board.
Also, it lasts a long time as well.
im doing this tommrow thanks
I made the strike zone... Now I have to figure out how to get movement 🤔🤔🤔
I would recommend watching MLW’s and Como’s pitching tutorials for the best pitches.
@@tpbaplastic ok I went over there and actually got some movement on my pitches. I can throw a cutter and knuckle curve pretty well now
Awesome 👍
Still trying to figure out the use of the 8th 24" pipe
I see this made with 7
Keep it just in case of any of the pipes you used crack.
@@tpbaplastic Well, I bought 7
But I can always get more.
Thinking about making another with 1" pipe in the future too.
Easy build. Kids love it.
good job on the video
We’re glad that you are enjoying you’re strike zone.
How long are the pvc pipes
We were able to get the pre cut 2 ft. ones at Home Depot.
You look way taller than I am would this strike zone work for 5’0 to 6’0
Our players range from 5’10 to 6’5 and we haven’t had any problems yet with strike zone height.
Is the board 20 height and then 24 width or other way arround
The other way around. 20'' wide and 24" long.
What's an estimate of the cost?
It shouldn’t be no more than $50. When we did this, it was around $40
When you say 3/4 inch pvc pipe do you mean width or how long the pipe is
Width. I doesn’t have to be 3/4 in though. But I would recommend your strike zone being between 3/4 and 1 1/4.
Tpba Wiffle thx... I have 1 1-4... I followed some other tutorial that included sheet metal and it ended up being overwhelmingly huge so I’m following your to get it the right size
Crud I can’t do step seven
how much is it to get all the pvc?
For all of the pvc pipe, including ts and the corners, it should cost around $40.
The cost of supplies has gone up unfortunately :(
how much does it cost
All the supplies shouldn’t cost more than $40.
How much did it cost total?
Everything should come out $40 including tax.
@@tpbaplastic did you get everything from Home Depot
how much pvc pipes do you need, 8?
We got 8 just in case.
@@tpbaplastic and what kind of elbows do you need because i got the 3/4 ones but only one side fit with it and the other didnt
You need to get 3/4 inch 90 degree elbows.
👍
I have been stuck on step 4 for hours
Always the worst one 😭
Lol
Will a 24x20 work?
Yes
@@tpbaplastic ok thanks
How much money was this?
Should be close to $30.
@@tpbaplastic that’s good considering that people are selling them for $100. This is a money saver fs!
How many 3/4 inch pvc pipes do you need?
We recommend buying 8 pieces of 2 ft. "precut" PVC pipe.
TPBA Plastic ok thank you
Would it work for players around 5 feet
Yes
When's world series man!
Mid August.
Tpba Wiffle ok thank you man! Your league is awesome man! Tre is that you making the strike zone
Thanks and yes that's me.

No way that Fortnite season was 6 years ago 😭
These dimensions are too small
Well aware. We will be working on a new strike zone very soon.
Cant believe they charge $100 for these😂😂
Fr it’s just some PVC pipes
How much to make them?
Couldnt be more than 20 bucks. You can get 20ft of pvc pipe at lowes for 10 and all the other stuffs cheap too. I just use a lawn chair lol
@@bububz8345 like no more than 30 bucks
