I used an online tool to maximize the material I had and allowed me to get all the pieces cut up with just 3 five foot long PVC. I also used high quality 1" PVC (from Lowes) and felt that was plenty wide and heavy enough to make this all very sturdy. I would recommend labeling each piece with their measurement and label with a sharpie before cutting. If you put the label at the very end of each piece, it will get covered up when you put it in the joints. Built one this weekend. Thanks so much for the video. The 15" piece across the top was a little short so I changed it to 16" and fits perfect. I used plexiglass for the middle. Thanks again. My son and his friends love it!
Awesome video!!! In your description if you could change 21” x (2) and 16” x (2) and also add 5 1/4” it would be a little easier to follow. Thanks for the how to!!!! 👍🏻
We padded legs with split pool noodles to settle those corner arguments. Make a very different sound than hitting the bare PVC pipes. Solved the issue for us.
Great video - just built and my family and I are having a blast. One thing, I used your cut list before the build and I think you're missing two cuts. You should add another 21", another 16", and your 5 1/4 cut (I used 5). You need right about 15 ft of PVC for all the cuts. Again, thanks for sharing! Below are how I have it written down for future builds. 21" x 2 16" x 2 15" x 3 11" x 1 9.5" x 1 7" x 2 x 1 5 1/4" x 1 4" x 4
Okay….well, it’s all completed. I followed the instructions pretty closely and except for a few varying measurements, it is a near replica of the one in the video (no paint, however). It was straightforward and without your video it would have nearly impossible to build, so thank you for doing the hard work 🥲. I particularly like the double sheet metal approach as it makes a louder noise and weighs it down even more than a single sheet. Excellent design!!🤩
Thanks for the video. One thing in the dimensions cut. I would List the "strike zone downs" and add (x2), same with the base front legs. Was a little confusing with the other cuts listed as (x2)
Yes.. Lowes sells 10' pieces and 2' pieces so best to just get (2) 10' pieces.. I just priced this out at Lowes and without the sheet metal its $63 (pre tax).. Pretty pricey!
Should have said what lengths were being used in the building process. And you could slow the video down. It was hard to follow. And in the end I had to add extra pieces to make all of it fit.
I heard you say your disclaimer and I'm not giving you shit. I don't know they're calling offical height but the two you had didn't seem to match up in height.

That’s great! Yea that’s why we did 2, that loud bang makes all the difference
This worked great for me! Thank you for the measurements and your time making this.
You’re welcome!
Just made this today. Great video, exact measurements, didn’t have any problems. Thank you🙌🏼
Awesome!!
What size is the sheet metal supposed to be
@@lukesgroi6268 probably like half an inch less than the rectangle
My little brother and I followed your instructions and made an identical one. We're gonna use it all summer! Thanks man!
Nice!
how much does it cost
@@masonpirtle929 I don't remember how much I spent but couldn't have been more than like 50 bucks
I built one to these specs and it worked great! Thanks!
Awesome!
I made it and it’s beautiful beyond words
Makes playing much more fun!
@@AngeloBodetti For sure!
Love this it helped out a bunch on making it
Angelo, What's the size of the sheet metal?
Thanks for the video. One thing in the dimensions cut. I would List the "strike zone downs" and add (x2), same with the base front legs. Was a little confusing with the other cuts listed as (x2)
Gotcha!
Thanks for the help!!! Great video.
Thank you!
It wouldn't have to be assembled. Just include some instructions. Cheers!
How much feet in total of pvc pipe also do you do the list twice?
would you recommend painting it before putting it together so you don’t have the worry of missing spots?
I painted after because I figured paint would scrape and chip while I assembled
My only question is what size PVC pipe
Thanks for the tips...
What size sheet medal would you get for this strike zone?
The cutout is about 15x21. Home Depot has a bunch of different rolls sizes
@@AngeloBodetti thanks
For the sheet metal did you cut it or did they have the sheet metal already in that size
Cut it with snips
Great stuff...where did you get sheet metal to cut? Thx.
Home Depot
45 at top angled to the back of base.
Where do I buy the pvc pipe and sheet metal from
home depot
I feel like it’s a little small. But does it just look like that in the video
I’m 6’3 and it’s fine for us
Awesome video! I love the new base, I'm looking to build something similar. What are the dimensions of the final strike board?
@@AngeloBodetti I'm not seeing the link /: could you update the description with it please?
@@MasterofSheepdogs the strike board is 21x15. I recommend make everything and then cutting the strike board. This way you know it will fit perfect.
How much did you pay for all this? Just wondering, I might build one myself!
Was about $45 all said and done
How many t joints and elbows would you need?
Eveyrthing is in the description, but its 4 t and 10 corner
What inch is the PVC?
What are the length of the legs
Do you have link of what sheet metal you used? Everything I’m finding is super expensive
Got it at Home Depot, it was cheap. Get roof flashing
How much did it cost to buy all the materials?
About 45$
Correct, about $45 total.
It cost me about $35 if you have zip Ties and an old tote lid and don't plan to paint it.
How the heck did you guys get it for soo cheap, I just did it and it about 90
If I used 3/4 PVC Pipe would that work?
Yes
What thickness in the pvc
1 1/4 inch I believe
What size is the tin sheet?
21x15 is the dimension of the finished piece
What do we need for the middle on the strike
It’s sheet metal. You can get it at Home Depot. It’s used for roofs.
How thick is the pvc thx.
1 1/4
Thx
What is the list of the materials we need to make this
They are in the description and the video. Let me know if you have a specific question

what is the size of the sheet metal in the middle

Can u make one for me and ship it I’ll pay you ahead of time.
Yeah he could sell quite a few of these. I'm a DIY guy but there's definitely a market right now.
Shipping would be insane unfortunately
