@@austinraynor7060how thick is the sheet metal? When I look it up the thickest option is .019 in.
He said he recommends you use something lighter in a different thread
Made it and it’s awesome! Thanks.
I’m gonna make it for my league
Love it. It was a. Big help.
Nice, I made one for my backyard play = )
What inch are the zip ties? And specifically what metal did you use for the middle? Also how many cans of spray paint did you use for the whole thing? 😊
What is the strikeZone dimensions? Im trying to make one today
How thick was you sheet metal for the middle?
Thank you so much dude just one question and would it hold up to blitz ball as well?
Great question! Tbh I’ve never tried it
It would!
What did you use a the sheet
What size sheet metal
what are the dimensions of the strikezone
how big was the middle thing?
What did you make the middle part out off
We made it out of sheet metal. Found that it weighs down the strike zone more than expected so I’d recommend tarp or a lighter product for the middle.
u can also use plywood :)
@@austinraynor7060 dimensions of sheet metal?
@@brandonlee7753 *correction* 29x21’’ 0.99 mm
My friend used old hockey net it works very good
how much did this cost i am thinking of building one
Not much, $17 if I remember correctly. Prices for pvc has increased since the video was made
No chance. Just did this in the states costs about $35
@@53chabit wow! Crazy how much pvc costs have went up since 2 years ago pre-pandemic!
@@austinraynor7060$35 isn’t bad compared too ones online which are about $150 😂
We did it cost $110
What’s the diameter of the pvc
3/4 inch
Are these suitable for actual baseball ?
A real baseball thrown hard will probably go straight through this.
what is the material of the actual strike zone
He used sheet metal. I would not reccomend that because it makes a terrible noise. Use something that would sound good. It doesn’t really matter what you use.
Me: C H A I R
What size pvc did you use
Probably 1"
3/4”
3/4
How much money did it all cost I have a budget of $40
When I did it I used plastic instead of sheet metal and it costs around 56$ for me
cost me about $25 for the pvc and zip ties, I had something in the garbage for the actual zone
Do you play MLW
No! But I wish I did that would be cool. We’re a small league out in North Carolina.
@@austinraynor7060 oh cool!
What inches did u cut the tarp by?
@@ag_dunkz8142 exterior width of zone was 21 inches. Length depends on the average height of your league’s players. Our league is mainly adults so we made it 30 inches exterior height.
