I love the fact that you cut and sew the way the designer indicates in the pattern. To me that's a respect thing to the designer and the quilter that buys the pattern and needs help following the instructions! Thanks! Love your videos!
I finished my sons baby quilt when he was 20. He loves it. Love watching you!
I love your sentence "Finished is better than perfect." It was a great relief when heard it the first time.
My favorite quilts to make are baby quilts. Not only do they have fun happy prints but you know they will be well loved. Awesome Quilt!
A baby quilt WAS my gateway quilt! 30 years ago, while pregnant with my first baby I took a quilting class. I finished the quilt just a few days before she was born. And I've been quilting every since. Love your show.
I love the trick for the quarter square triangles! I never thought to pull back one corner to make sure it looked right! I have a new "tool" to use! Absolutely love ya girl!!
Following the Midnight Quilt Show is such fun. Entertaining, informative, new products that make our lives easier, free patterns and free motion quilting diagrams. The best of everything in our quilting need to know and see world. Thank you.
OMG the 'gateway drug to quilting', yup that was my start!!
Angela, another job well done. My grandson would say "jood gob". That's a 4 year old version of good job! Thank you, I always learn something new when I watch your videos.
I can not believe I haven’t see this amazing video
Angela if it is quilting that keeps you looking so young I wish I had discovered it a lot sooner! I love your show.
I just love this quilt. The vibrant colors just scream happiness. You are so entertaining and make quilting look so fun.
I love this show because the quilts are fun and they look like they would be so much fun to make
So cute... He will love it for years to come ❤️
I love the quilt. The colors and design are gorgeous. Girl, you are a natural teacher and soooo awesome!!!
Love Love Love this quilt and Angela, you make me laugh out loud! Thanks for showing your children's quilts! Adorable. 😀
I love watching your quilting shows. Especially the way you make it ok for me not to be perfect.
this looks like a fun quilt to make and very easy as well. Congrad's on the new family member.
I love free-motion quilting and my favorite part is watching your quilting choices which inspire me!😍👍
I am so glad that you find it helpful!!!!!
Can't do it. I want to but everything turns into eyelashes on the back,no matter what I do. I will not keep taking that mess out. I just have to pay to have it done, I am sad and envious at the same time.
I love the different blocks that make up the borders. I fail to venture out without a pattern. Now here it is! Angela, I love the freedom you bring to quilting. Thanks.
Angela love your fun presence And your Awesome quilts !!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
What a lucky nephew! Lots of nice quilting ideas. Thanks again Angela...
I'm so glad you got the stripology ruler! It's such a game changer!
Watching your videos is like being on a retreat with my quilting posse... jammies, quilting juice, fun, frustration, laughing, and the reality of errors without judgment. LOVE the realistic take on our time away from the world to quilt... with one exception: No real quilter can wear black without being covered with threads!! :) I supposed SOME concessions must be made when there is a video crew waiting to pounce when things are not perfect. PLEASE keep doing what you are doing... Cheers !!!
congratulations on your new addition. What a wonderful quilt, so special a gift.
Congratulations on being an Aunt again. Your new nephew is lucky to get such a beautiful quilt made from love.
Congratulations on becoming an aunt again. I love your show, your creativity, your humour and your inspiration. Thanks for being you!
Thank YOU for supporting me by watching the videos!
I love 💕 making quilts for babies!
What a happy quilt! I just love all the colors!
This is an awesome way to use panels, instead of the plane jane, style we always resort to....Thanks for giving us such an easy tutorial to follow.. I too love sampler blocks for many things, u don't get too bored, of making the same block, like u said, and keeps your mind sharp and thinking...Thanks Again..
What an adorable quilt. You have one blessed little nephew. Great job, auntie and congrats!
Love that you showed quilting on panels! The colors in this quilt are beautiful! Another great tutorial!
I was listening and haphazardly watching your tutorial, while making breakfast. My daughter was laughing so hard at your humorous monolog....especially when your animals gave you encouragement. Lol
I think you will have another follower :^)
I like the blocks where the corners don't match ... having completely finished my first two quilts and two more quilt tops in the past year or so, I've come to realize how tricky it is to match all those points and corners all the time. I like the loopy FMQ design because the denser the quilting the stiffer the quilt ... and quilts for kids should be 'looser'/more cuddly, I agree. Another terrific tutorial, thanks Angela! ~Diana from Toronto
What a beautiful, bright, fun quilt. Good to see the some previous baby quilts too.
So cute. And I loved that you named the animals. Thanks for the tips.
Hi Angela, I just started watching your Midnight Quilt Show videos and love, love, love them. I've been quilting for about 25 years now when my 3 daughters were under the age of 7. I quilted in the wee hours of the night because I just loved the silent uninterrupted quilting time. Watching your shows make me nostalgic, and now that my kids are all grown and have families of their own I still find myself enjoying quilting in those odd hours even though no one else is home except for my cats and dog, oh yeah and my husband. Anyway, I just love your videos and can't wait to get through all of them. It just brings back so many beautiful memories. Thanks for listing, Annie from San Diego.
Turned out very lovely. I have often quilted around ALL the objects in the pattern. This was a great help in knowing how to simplify the process. Thanks.
We can call it a quilting hack....lol
This quilt is adorable!!! And it was a fun trip down memory lane getting to see the quilts you made for your kids through the years.
You are right. That makes a big quilt. It's so cute. Thanks for posting your designs will be easy to do. The hardest part is making my mind up. Love the colors.
I’ve been quilting for awhile now (my first quilt was a baby quilt for a friend) but have yet to tackle free motion quilting. You’re show makes it seem much less daunting and it’s nice to see that even pros have “character enhancing” details! Thank you for you delightful videos and the inspiration!
Loved the bright colors and the different quit blocks! This is one I will want to do! Thanks!
Love to watch your shows! I love your happy and easy going approach to quilt making. Best of all I like that your show seems spontaneous, not scripted nor rehearsed but as if I have been invited in to your quilting space for just a bit. Thank you ... you always put a smile on my face and rekindle the fun of quilting!
Oh how FUN! Love your fabrics.
Angela, sooooo much fun watching u, oh & off course your quilting. 😊😂
Thanks so much! I have so much fun making them!!!
Very cute quilt! Love the colors too! Love your shows, and your humor... 🐒
Your comment at the beginning had me cracking up ... and I'm thinking, yes, that's why I love her! I love my kids, but my reaction about being pregnant is IDENTICAL to yours! Oh, and of course, the quilt ... so stinkin' cute!
i made quilts for my 3 children - the first took 4 years, the second was quick - i tied it also, and the third took me until my son was 20! all epp and hand quilted. Then I discovered machine piecing and quilting from videos like yours! You should see how quick I am now! :)
I'm nursing my 2.5 month old and looking for new quilt ideas. (Not sure when I will have the time.) I love watching this show!! It's very motivating. I do agree about baby quilts being the gateway drug. As I start one quilt I am planning for my next one. I am addicted.
Love the quilt! The colors are so happy and perfect for a new baby! Congrats on your new nephew!!
Oh what an adorable quilt!!.. Angela I just love you and your show so soo much. You make it all look so interesting and easy :) hats off!
Another great Midnight Quilt Show episode. Great tip on quarter square triangles. I will definitely give it a try. Love sitting down and "quilting" with you each week!
I love watching your Midnight Quilt Show. You are so enthusiastic and funny, your projects interesting and beautiful, and make me want to try machine quilting myself, although then when would I have time to visit my long-arm quilt lady. This quilt is too stinking cute!
Just love the baby quilt, thanks for sharing Angela..
Beautiful job Angela. I'm expecting my first Grandbaby in January. I am new to quilting so I may not make it a baby blanket and have to go with a twin! Fingers crossed 🤞 . Please keep sharing and go on caring ❤ you make us laugh and its what the world needs. Stay safe.
My favorite part is seeing how you're going to quilt the quilt, Angela! Love that these videos of yours make me laugh!!!
Such a fun quilt! I agree that baby quilts are gateway quilts! And the fabrics can be addicting to buy!! I haven't tried a sampler quilt... This looks so fun!
So happy for your family! Enjoy the little ones while you can.
Great tutorial.
Angela this is so adorable. I love watching your videos. Your tips are so helpful
So wonderful, I love that quilt!!!
love the bright colors and cute panel. now to finish baby quilts i started years ago!
I did a quilt like that for my 1st granddaughter, by hand before teaching myself to machine quilt & piece a year ago. Took me 3 years to finish it!
Sweet! I've never cut up a panel before.... now, I can't wait to give it a try!! Thank you!!
Whoo hoo!! So glad that you found the video helpful!
Another terrific episode! My first quilt was not a baby quilt, but a wall hanging, and now all my nieces and nephews are adults. I hope I will some day get a chance to make a grandchild's baby quilt!!
Terry Bridgham only think, 😀😀 I know that I most definately have....
Such a fun sweet quilt that will be well loved.
Only seen two videos of your's but am in love with your work. You're such an expert.
This quilt is stunning! I just made a quilt for my cousin's baby boy. It was a simple layout with fun patterns!
Thanks for doing a tutorial using panels! There are some adorable panels out there, but I always have trouble finding a pattern to use them in a quilt. And congratulations on the newest addition to your family! Aren't babies the greatest? When they're someone else's, that is. lol Keep 'em coming, Angela - your videos are always something to look forward to.
Angela, I love the show, the quilt, and the monkey. Thanks for the Midnight Quilt videos. I just finished my 1st machine quilted quilt, because you are a powerful inspiration. Thanks for being so upbeat and easy about quilting. My quilt isn't perfect, but it's finished and I'm on to the next one!
I always say to myself (as I make a mistake), "If I wanted it to be perfect, I would save myself a lot of time and effort by just buying one from a store". I love seeing the hand in the handmade -- that's what makes it special!
Stephanie I say that too! Perfection is overrated. :)
Yes!!!! A finished quilt is always better than a perfect quilt top!
M. H. I'm getting over "perfect." My grandson loves his quilt and he tells his mom that he can't believe I made it. 😍
Another great quilt! One of my favorites so far!!
Love the color !!! I just had finished up a baby quilt in time to enter in our county fair Arts and Crafts Exhibit ...I got a BLUE RIBBON .. it was a Joann Fabric Pattern... Sooo cute ...Now it's off to one of my sons friends who are expecting a Baby Boy soon !!! Love your shows !!!
I can't believe you did this in one day! You're my hero! And it's adorable...
This quilt is Absolutely beautiful !! At first I thought it was going to be just another panel quilt, but when you got done I was totally amazed how beautiful it turned out! Thank you again for such a Great tutorial and the step by step and for showing the final result!! You are a True inspiration to me !!
Thank you Angela, for such a beautiful baby quilt! I have a dear friend who just had twins (boy and a girl )! I have been looking for a baby quilt that could be done quickly and easily for the both of them! Now I have it! Thanks again! I Love your show!!
Another great quilt, love the bright colors, your new nephew will love it. Don't you just love that big ole rotary ruler. I bought one last year and love, love, love it. It cuts very accurate strips. I enjoy your videos and feeling more confident to just quilt what feels right for the quilt. Sometimes I stress too much over what to quilt. I worry some day you are going to spill you wine. I cannot have any drink near my work area.
LOL, it hasn't happened yet...knock on wood. Thanks so much for your support!
Adorable baby quilt.
Absolutely beautiful!!
Oh man...Angela thank you so much for the awesome laugh!! Congrats on being a new Auntie! Such a fun role for sure....and the quilt is adorable.
Wow! That is sooo cute!
I love this show so much!
Love your style, fun to watch and learn at the same time thanks
Such a fun variety in this zoo animal print. Loved that you shared your kids baby quilts❣️🐵🙈🙉🙊🐒Marvin the monkey outlined then all over design around him was a new way of thinking how to not take away from a highlighted feature. Thanks again for insightful quilting inspiration! Way to go Super Auntie!!!!
Congratulations!
And, thank you.
Stunning quilt, Angela. I've never been to a quilt retreat, but I would really need to add chocolate to my supplies!
What an adorable quilt!
This was precious!!!!!!
Another superb, wine-filled video!
Another beautiful quilt. I want to start a simple quilt but I haven't seen a fabric that I like. I think that I will try to look for a panel and then put fabric around it. Thanks for a new midnight quilt show video.
So adorable!
Oh that is such a cute quilt! I love it!
Love this show! Thank you for your free motion quilting inspiration on a domestic machine!
Your baby quilt was so cute. I loved it.
Love this Quilt! I have a different baby panel and wasn't sure what to do with it. Now I have great ideas! Thank you !!!
OMG!!! Stop the cuteness!!!
I have to confess!.. I started my son Ben's dinosaur quilt when he was 6 years old... I finally finished it in July of this year (2017)... Ben is now 43 years old!.. I'm so embarrassed; please don't tell anyone... but, the good news is that I'm finally back into quilting and have made two other quilts since I finished Ben's quilt... now, if Ben would just give me a grandson, the quilt can be passed on... lol... love your show!..
Love it! So cute.
Thanks for sharing videos on you tube. I love them all.
Angela love your baby quilt . Watching your first video gave me courage to start machine quilting now I'm making quilts for my nieces for Christmas. Thanks again looking forward to your next video.
Love your show and quilts - quite entertaining and educational!
Angela, I look forward to the midnight quilt show and save the viewing until it's quiet and I won't be disturbed. This baby quilt is really quite nice. I too make twin size for babies. They are going to grow up!! and love me for it :-). Thanks for all the quilting tips and encouragement. It keeps me from being so hard on myself.
I am so glad that you find it helpful! I would hate for you to be too hard on yourself, ;)
Connie Cephus The smallest baby quilts I make are twin sized. That way it can go on their first real bed after bring incarcerated behind bars.
