Simon, been following you since the first van (FIRE!), Shelby and Champ (God love him!). You never cease to amaze me with your ability to teach yourself just about anything! First it was photography; then it was van repair, then motorcycle repair. Now you have an encyclopedic knowledge of solar systems, boat repairs and sail-making. You are a truly remarkable person. If you need to take an extended break from youtube to recharge your soul, do it. We will be here when you return. Kiss Honey for us...Pat
Been missing your videos, look after yourself both mentally and physically, we want you around for decades to come (even if your not making videos) Striking the work life balance perfectly is a bit of a life long quest, it's different for everyone, some people never find it, I hope you do while you're still young 🤞
Always good to see you Simon and friends!! Happy to see all is well and projects are making progress. Thank you for sharing the updates! Stay safe all! 👍👍
I've been a casual viewer since the end of the van era, and I can't say I fully understand the continuity of the channel, but for the most part I do enjoy each video for what it is.
Wow, that is a big area to fix. Very interesting to see how it is done. That "free boat" will be beautiful in the end if you all can handle all the repairs. Good to see an update. Take care of yourself.
Seems like every time you get to where you are feeling burned out doing some traveling feeds your soul. Still amazes me when I think about the absolutely massive amount of skills you have gained since you went from van to boat. That is a forever kind of knowledge that you can't really get in schools and universities, all your teachers have been people who had a career doing those things. I always felt that's the way it should be but it doesn't happen much anymore.
I hear you on the burnout/lost feelings. I think you have a good thing going with your assortment of videos. It’s really about you, not just boats and travel. You could make a video of a visit to a grocery store to buy your staples and people would enjoy it. Your editing style, videography, and personality is your magic sauce. The boat and travel stuff is great for views and sponsors but what’s great for you? You’ll figure it out. 💡
Cant wait till you can wrap up projects and prioritize what makes you happy again. Not for me, but for you sir! We are DIY and project people too but understand youre probably tired of doing a construction channel at this point. We love it all but dont be afraid to say no to new projects, give some away to another boat channel, and put some travel plans on the calendar for next spring and summer. Do what makes you happy. Put it online only if you want!
I have just noticed the "Sink or Swim" series had already come to an end last year. Come on, Simon! I have been following you since your van-dwelling days with your ex. You should do a proper ending to the 5+ year long series!!

You've been in my thoughts. Take care Simon.
Great to see you back Simon!
Glad I'm not the only one who watches Captain Ron. 😂🤣😂🖖💕. I don't know a lot about boats, but having holes in one seems counterproductive. 😉

Glad to see a new episode.
As long as you make videos, I will watch them. Take care of you and yours, first.
It’s so good to see you! I’ve missed you. ❤

Always Love you content and will hopefully not have to wait too long to see some more. How's your actual boat coming alone?

I completely understand man. I’m 15 year in and completely burned out.

That boat is toast ….
Just take your time to find the right focus. What still interests me though: Do you still work on sailing with your "home"?
🤘😎🤘
find a project that will never see the end and milk it for all that it is worth
🤠👍
oh enough
IT IS NOT REALLY INTERESTING ANYMORE. ONLY NEW VIDEO FOR MOSTLY COMMERCIAL MARKETING. 👎
You suck man, Simon just threw it all out there. Have some compassion for the guy.
