I might have missed something?? Are you not going to work on your other boat? The cat? That your gunna make electric? Have you sold it? Or is it taking a back seat?

Yeah I know right. I watch sporadically and have no idea what's happening any more.

I like the fact all of you involved have a say in what gets done BUT to many cooks in the kitchen spoils the gravy ! You all have strong areas of workmanship and you should play to that ! Like electrical and building is one and Mechanical and Plumbing is another and Painting and Architecture is another !

Also, the hydronic heater was placed under the seat in the cockpit so that it could heat the area, as well as only having 90° of bends in the exhaust pipe. That REALLY important. Plus it kept most of the noise out of the cabin. FYI.

Just a thought, make wooden risers that are thicker on the front side and thin at the back. Then have dowels that fit into a couple of the aluminum step holes. Hey you wanted wood.

Ugg I hate / love old boats. Just stripped one down to a bare hull literally and built back all the way from new bulkheads. I dont envy the smell and weird stuff floating in the air ripping stuff up. Good on ya bud. Rootin for when you get out there! SV Antares II

Screw some wooden wedges to each step of the ladder to level them out. If you router a groove in the bottom of each wedge you can completely cover each step in wood, then add some 'No Slip' grit tape to the front edges... Instead of cutting the ends of the ladder to fit the new angle, bend the 'excess' over to make tabs for fixing the ladder in place.

I the aft head, I used that metal strap to attach a block and tackle so that I could lift the transmission out and replace it.

I wonder if you are going to put wood treads on the ladder anyway, perhaps you could make them wedge shaped to create a level surface without having to grind and reweld? Thicker at the front of the step and thinner towards back.

Level the treads and cut the top to angle first and work on bottom next

Dudes use that thing as a Passarella and stairs for the swim grid, and then make some custom steps that fold up into the wall out of the way you could make those steps while underway.

THE STEPS - When you add the wood to the steps can you cut them in a bit of wedge shape to off set the angle?

Worked lots with industrial compressors. Heat is produced by compressing the air, not by the motor. Dont worry about the pump over heating unless you cant touch the motor. Heat is expelled as the gas compresses and cools. Cool air cant hold as much moisture and is the reason why you need to drain compressors often.
Also, bleep out twig n berrys profanity so that youtube can recommend your channel. Profanity, easily caught by algos, will inhibit others from discovering you through their recommended feeds. Its what stopped his channels initial growth.

Ladder was a good idea but my opinion is that would look afro-engineered!
