No I think you find they are Pratt and Whitney 2000 engines, Rolls Royce 757 engines have a larger more rocket like outlet at the back of the engine whereas the PW 2000's have a more cone like shaped outlet. Oh and Delta don't fly Rolls Royce RB-211 757's ;)
Hey no hard feelings :) Everyone learns something new every day, when I say everyone I mean me too, welcome to aviation, a world where it is impossible to know everything, a world where you learn something new every day, happy flying :)
There is no other sharp, modern and 'slick' looking aircraft than the 757-300 with the PW-3000s. Clean, powerful-looking and loved by oh so many. Never a fan of the 3-on-3 but when you are all they way 'upfront', it is just lovely.
There is no plane that has the same capacity as the 753 anymore and it is newer as well so they aren't getting phased out yet. The 752 on the other hand is and United is dumping theirs way faster than Delta is.
Julio Romeresto I'm in Salt Lake City. I was checking Delta's flight schedule the other day. They have one daily nonstop to Atlanta and back on a 757-300.
just saw a vid of that plane I can kinda hear it the roar in it interesting plane but these turbine powered jets have awesome roaring to them the MDs to me sound like lawn mowers but this is good catch seeing it take off
Unless there are any DC 8 73s around. They are 187 feet long. DC 8 63/73s will probably always hold that record for single aisle birds DC 8 73 also had a much higher MTOW.
If this is true, then it won't be called the 797. They would call it the 757-8 / 9 / 10 or 757-X following the naming convention of the 787, 737, and 777. Any aircraft called the 797 would be a cleansheet design.
All aboard the long white pencil! :)
I miss them without winglets. I'll be flying in one come this May!
That's what she said
The long slim planes are amazing because they’re so awkward watching take off. The 753, MD90, CRJ 900 are just amazing
@@socialray4252 😊
I recently had the pleasure of flying the 757-300 and 767-400. It's hard to believe they can be so long.
DC 8 63/73 was an even longer narrow body at 187 feet long .
Yea that's what she said
What a gorgeous sound coming out of those PW 2000's!!
They're not P&W, they're Rolls Royce lol

Tom Patrick you're right! I got the wrong information from a website... Sorry :/

Tom Patrick literally ahah
Love this aircraft, so long, sleek and elegant. Just flew it back home from LA to Honolulu, so glad DL is using them both to LA and Seattle from HNL
I’ll be hopping on one of these beautiful machines tomorrow from ATL to SEA

Great steep, climbing like a rocket !
Love the 757!! Great video!!
I flew on that exact model Delta 757-300 from ATL to Ft Lauderdale / Miami
I'm flying on the 757-300 in the summer; didn't know its a long boi! :)
Ari S. It’s like a flying pencil! The wide body flying pencil is the a340-600!
Did that missal know it was carrying passengers? 😝 love the 757.
Great job buddy!
That's not a bad looking plane. It's too bad Delta's phasing them out for the wretched 737-900ER. :(

hi from australia thank you
Love the 757!
My dream is to fly one of these. Which routes do these fly?
A BEAUTY of a BEAST!
I have a diecast cast model of a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-300 except with winglets.
nice catch mate
It might be just me, but I love that airplane without winglets.
For me, it feels like something is missing,
Oh I think the winglets give it so much personality I love them!
That’s heading to Atlanta right or wrong
I love delta airlines
Very well done
I wonder if there have been any tail strikes in the 300. That fuselage is so long that it makes the plane look a huge challenge to fly.
Sounds like a NASCAR racer only with wings awesome
You want a plane that sounds like nascar... look up the Antonov AN-70
just saw a vid of that plane I can kinda hear it the roar in it interesting plane but these turbine powered jets have awesome roaring to them the MDs to me sound like lawn mowers but this is good catch seeing it take off
Almost
I understand these are the longest single aisle airliners in existence. I'm sure it takes an extremely long time loading the passengers.
Unless there are any DC 8 73s around.
They are 187 feet long.
DC 8 63/73s will probably always hold that record for single aisle birds

I like it takeoff and departure. Delta Air Lines is good old Boeing 757-300 without winglets. looks better.
Where are you viewing from at MSP?
Terminal 1 parking structure
If Boeing's 797 is a 757 but modernized with new engines and materials etc it would sell like crazy. Please Boeing give us the ultimate 757 as the 797
Yeah I totally agree with you screw the 737s and the max 8 he'll I fly the oldest 757 or md 88 before I get on a 737 max8

The 757-200 at 0:53 to me looks larger than the 757-300 taking off because of the different angle.
Hi
RIP Boeing 757
Ahh yes, the flying pencil
✏️
Plane musta been heavy. Looooong takeoff
757 safeties aircraft !!!!!!
Yes after the a340
Never liked how the 753 and 764 looked
Tallest plane :))
I think the 200s are cooler looking, the 300s are just too long...
