I remember picking up an 03 rubicon around 2005 with 19,000 miles for 19k and I thought that was a lot of money. And that’s back when it was a well built jeep and not this…now I just feel poor with these prices
I remember in 03, my cousin bought a house in the Palo Alto for 800k. Back then I thought it was insane amount of money. He sold that house last year for 3M.
@@RandomUser1668 wow that’s crazy
I just bought one of these for my wife! We love it. We got the early clear color!
Happy with my 2020 2-door Rubicon, but have a 2023 2-door Bronco on order. Like both, equally, though with different pros and cons.
I have a Willys Aussie spec 3.6l . if this 4XE Willys comes onto our market I would buy it for sure. I love the spec it comes in for us.
Overpriced !!!!
Very
Proudly made in usa
Thats a really dope Jeep I can't afford. Thanks for showing us, LOL!
Yes. Must have ‘rubeecon’. I just bought one. Overall, extra diff locks and such is easier on the jeep. Less wheel spin
People saying overpriced are not valuing 470 lbft of torque in a Wrangler lol. That’s immense torque for a medium sized offroad vehicle. Plus you get $7,500 off for EV incentive.
I own a 2022 Rubicon loaded on XR 35s. I love mines.
4xe
Nice review
This is the only Jeep I wanna buy this Ben.
C side ring one of these as have noticed low mile used one are surprisingly decent for n price for a Jeep, especially with battery capability…
I'm rather happy with my 2019 Rubicon Unlimited and the price I paid for it. I'm not at all attracted to the prices of today, particularly this Willy's model. However, I like the direction Jeep is headed as they continue to iterate with these new EV technologies. Congratulations to all you 4xe Willy's owners. May your Jeep bring you countless miles of adventure.
One question I cannot get an answer for. Do these models roof leak? With all the panels coming off ?
Does this have a factory lift?
Trade in value also sucks on the 4XE. Just know in today's market, if you go to trade it in, you will be shocked at how much it depreciated.
Can you take the doors off
Cut the price by about 50%, like Tesla is doing.
Wrangler 4xe could use some evolution over the years, such as an increase in battery capacity. Maybe the Wagoneer 4xe will have a large battery and Hurricane gas engine.
Wow….I’m glad I don’t need a new vehicle. Those prices are crazy 😊
Actually just got a Willys 4xe. I got mine with the soft top and basically no options. For what it is it’s has pretty good standard features and since not as heavy as the ones with the hard top, I get 26 miles if EV range. If your looking for something with semi Rubicon capabilities and not a pavement pounder like a Sahara then the Willys is a good package to get.
I leased mind and got the tax credit and all the discounts. Ended up being way cheaper payment when compared to a financing a base ICE wrangler sport.
How does your payment look ?
@@diehardknicksfansinceiwass2683 $1500 down at 399m before taxes. It’s not the best but it’s not bad for a nearly 60k vehicle.
It’s a very good deal
Good deal , did you pay taxes and fees plus the 1500 down or just the 1500 with everything else rolled in the monthly?
@@shawnmonestine6193 445 after taxes. Got some additional rebates too when I leased it. However the only crappy part is that it’s through USbank at 48 months.
Nice looking Jeep love the black grille and the green. Ben, I agree, not a fan of the baby blue, but it can easily be turned black. 65% off peeps won't even know what the blue stands for imo.
Electric
Some good factory lease incentives out there now for the Willys 4xe so definitely do not purchase this unless you get a ripping deal. With the current influx & uncertainty in the evolving SUV EV market, I would never purchase the 4xe, but a lease might work so as not to be holding the bag on what very likely will be a significantly depreciated asset at the end of the lease...there will be better PHEVs out there & the 4xe will likely have twice the EV range by then.
So I have a potentially really stupid question, but I have always wanted a wrangler. It has been a dream of mine for 20+ years. Is it a terrible idea to use one as a family vehicle with 3 kids in slim fit car seats? We also have a 4runner. The jeep would just be for to and from school/work, no road trips.
You can fit 3 of those diono slim car seats in the rear no problem. If you’re taller than 5’8” you’ll be cramped probably if you have any rear facing seats on the outside seats. Reason being that you’ll have to move your driver and passenger seats forward more. I would say the biggest downfall of this car is the lack of cup holders but again that’s not the point of a wrangler. I would definitely stop at jeep dealer and see if everything fits for you. Every dealer I’ve gone to from jeep the salesperson has been super nice.
I too have always liked the looks of a Wrangler, but kept talking myself out of buying one. I just purchased a new 2023 Wrangler Willys 4-door base trim with a stick 3.6 in Sarge Green. I'm having a blast with it. I also own a Charger Scatpack and a Silverado, however, there is nothing like sitting up high in a Wrangler. It makes you feel large and in charge!
Is there a tax credit for the hybrid capabilities?
I think it still applies
It’s pronounced WILLIS!
I like my fully loaded 2023 Rubicon 4xe, and it was $62k. Had the $7500 applied directly to the loan.
That Willy is way overpriced
Does it feel torqy around town?
Yes it’s perfect
Debating between this or Porsche Macan. I already have a Sahara JL to have some fun.
@@franciscocruz6726 it it just depends if you want something different then.
All jeeps are overpriced right now. A 2-door sport s is $40,000+.
yep.... What I was looking at was going to cost 44K. Stretching to 62 - 64K for the 4xe with 2 extra doors was within can do for me so I took the plunge. It was right for me with my 14 miles average drive a day for the plug in part and gas + hybrid for the fun parts. But damned if car prices are not insane and jeeps have really gotten out of hand.
Jeep and Chrysler products are plagued with electrical issues, I’m sure this will be the same only worse$$$. Good luck.
Throw in the new Uconnect5 and you'll really be looking for some "fun."
2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL Sport Willys Wheeler 4XE!
22 miles on battery; wow. Talk about a compliance vehicle.
Soon to be renamed, with a dash load of rubber ducks…see you at the mall..
Way too much for a Jeep!
Agree, way overpriced...have a willys gladiator and paid no where near that. Don't buy until prices come back to earth.
I would not buy this even at $50k.
Jeeps have always been overpriced nothing new
Overpriced and poor quality. Casting sand left in the engine wrecking the cooling system etc.
63k is a good deal? 🤣🤣🤣
Overpriced, ouch!
If I have to be credited/paid $7500 to purchase any vehicle...hard pass.
Way overpriced.
Just rented this vehicle. Worst vehicle ever. Its just a noisy plastic toy. Inefficient and on top of that its a jeep. I can see the appeal to off road on this but its extremely uncomfortable as a daily driver.
