- The WCH mechanical bell was recently replaced. This leaves MLK Boulevard in Pompano Beach the only crossing left on the SFRTA in Broward County with a mechanical bell.

Thanks! Unfortunately this one was inevitable, it sounded weak for many years but all of the sudden the SFRTA decided to do upgrades in the area and everything is getting replaced. Eventually I will upload McNab Road (which had its mechanical bell replaced about 3 years ago) as it just received brand new WCH lights and LEDs. Copans Road is the only crossing left in the area with incandescent lights, so that crossing will be my next focus for a while.
@@TheRailroadCrossingChannel The Copans road railroad crossing will probably gets it's incandescent railroad crossing lights upgraded to WCH led lights.
I like the new bell combo.
Nothing beats the mechanical bell though…sad to see it go. SFRTA and FEC crossings are starting to look identical.

The new bell is a Siemens high pitched.
