      They tried to push this "unisex movement" on us before, in the 70's. People rejected it wholesale despite all the propaganda. So they waited a few decades and start pushing all over again. It is a long-term agenda, and sorry to say, the "war between the sexes" was part of it all.

    There are a lot of women who have spoken up about this and written books and articles and articulated why this pernicious nonsense is dangerous. There are women who have lost their jobs or otherwise been harmed who have gone through long, distressing legal battles to begin to establish legal precedents that benefit us all. There are few women who have deliberately, regularly put themselves in harms way - physically on the street - to combat this insanity; so hats off to KJK and all the women of Let Women Speak. I think any man/woman group should have a right to exclude each other. As long as their rights do not infringe on any individual to create their group and exclude. Sometimes this beneficial many of times women don't want to say whats on their mind in front of men unless they really trust them. And well men are simple. Put a woman in the room and it becomes a competition. So for individual bonding of groups its alright. When it comes to society its not alright though. So for womens sport no transwomen but for work they shouldnt be allowed to be excluded as long as their behaviour is appropiate for work conditions. And by all means no one should be able to control someones elses speech. Id like it if people didnt call me a prick because i feel im not one. But some people might feel that I am one. So who am I to not allow that person to say what they feel.

    While I applaud the return of single-sex spaces, there are a couple of points that should be mentioned. First, it needs to be applied with common sense. If someone changed sex a long time ago, had the hormones and surgery etc, then that should be taken into consideration. Making a trans woman who has lived as a woman for decades, married a man, been a step mum to kids and even a grandma, and is widely known and accepted as such by all who know her, go onto a men's ward in a hospital would be absurd, unnecessary and cruel to her and her family. Second, as for single sex spaces - I totally agree with the thrust of this, but I would hope and expect that would apply to men as well. There are presently far more girls wanting to be boys out there than the reverse, so how about having men's spaces protected? How about giving male patients the right to be treated for intimate issues by a male doctor and male nurse?

    • @Lycaerix
      @Lycaerix 3 месяца назад +25

      I agree with the general sentiment of your comment, but no. 'Common' sense is that a man who has spent his life pretending to be a woman comes to terms with what he objectively is and move on with his life instead of expecting society to shoulder the burden of his identity crisis.
      He can have whatever ridiculous beliefs he wants in his private life. Outside of that, nobody is beholden to his nonsense. And even in his private life I'd pity the people who feel emotionally guilted into playing along lest they hurt his precious feelings.
      Once upon a time people seemingly understood what living in a secular society meant. Now it seems we've all forgotten and have various forms of glorified blasphemy laws and sacred castes.

    • @lukeproctor69
      @lukeproctor69 3 месяца назад +17

      The whole point of single-sex spaces for women is that you don't know who the predator is.
      You are focussing on the biological male's feelings in that case. What about the women in the ward who don't want to share their space / are uncomfortable with, a biological male? What if some of those women had been previously abused by men?
      Unfortunately there is no balance. Either you have single-sex spaces or you do not.

      @@Lycaerix "a man who has spent his life pretending to be a woman" - How is the person I described now a "man"? What defining features of a man does she have after the radical surgery and living, and being integrated into a family, as a woman? What are you achieving by forcing her onto a male hospital ward other than alarm and upset for her and her family?

      Disagree... I honestly don't care if a man has been pretending to be a woman for 50 years. He's still a man...single sex, means single sex, women deserve places of thier own.
