🇨🇷PURA VIDA MARK🇨🇷
Mark , you are always so gracious in your reviews. Even when you don't like the taste of the dessert in this video, you never give a review which you might think be conveyed as a biased review of it. The dessert you had was obviously super sweet and with milk powder, and condensed milk mixed in the ice, and you are known not to like super sweet foods, but you would only say "yeah... its super sweet , but refreshing..."... That's great, and is in line with the person that you are... however, I don't think it's anything bad to sometimes provide a review that , tells the truth about the foods... "it's a little too sweet for me."... You are a food reviewer, and some foods are nice, some are passable, and some really does take some adjusting to it...
I buy the empanda dough from the supermarket. And i put ground beef, lobster and shrimp in mine with mozzarella cheese. You can put anything in an empanada.

Great Video Mark, it’s awesome that your tour guides in Costa Rica are being honest and showing traditional Costa Rican food like El gallo pinto, the chilera sauce, ceviches, but the chalupa’s and the tomato Chile drink shots are not Costa Rican recipes, they are Mexican recipes that are in high demand in Costa Rica. It’s admirable that the Costa Rican men at the empanada shop are being honest about making Mexican empanada fillings 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and interesting that they are using a tortilladora ( steal tortilla press Mexican invention). I have had Costa Rican friends for over 15 years I have never seen them put food on top of tortillas, that was interesting they rip apart tortillas and pick up food that way.
Can’t believe you finally made it! San Jose it’s okay, but CR has so much more to offer. Head to both coasts, then hang out in the mountains. Cartago is gorgeous, and many other places where you can try tacos Ticos,, tamales, olla de carne, and so much more! I hope you stay long enough, or come back! PS Never heard of eating turtle eggs in my life and my entire family is from there. I learned something new! Pura Vida!!!

Stay safe and keep up the amazing work. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Love you videos soooooo much, but the greatest benefit from what you do is how you exposed your family( particularly your son) to so many different cultures of living around the world, So, I just wanna commend you brother of being just a 'Family Man". This is really what life is all about, everything else are just secondary blessings and rewards. You are one amongst very few RUclipsrs that travel and records videos of experiences with the family......So just keep doing what you do brother, because your payoff is gonna be beyond your wildest dreams, all because of "The Unit of Family!!@
Thanks soo much for always sharing new cultures with us Mark, your content always brightens my dark days, God continue bless you and your family.🥰♥️♥️♥️🙏🏼✝️✝️✝️
God bless

Hola Mark!

I love Co-guide Samanta
So cute
Oh my........ Thanks MW for showing us foods around the world.
Great content as usual. Great food, great people! Thanks!!
Thank you for this exposure to these foods !!!!!!
So glad for visiting us!!! After watching the video I needed a Gallo Pinto! 😂 Our delicious food!
You should visit our beautiful Limon provice, it's out of the world, beaches, food, people...❤
Greetings to your family.

"I can't stop feeling enormous pride for my country and for the gastronomic culture, based on rice and beans, the way it is presented on its channel, I think my country is very sweet, like its personality, I spent some time very nice with your video, thank you very much and may God save my small country Costa Rica, and those who come here, coffee, rice and beans, delicious meats and delicious empanadas, an important part of biodiversity and the best the peace of "don't see soldiers anywhere"
as an Ethiopian i like the coffee mood.❤
Oh I loved to see Jason and Samantha with you!
We're all watching Micah grow up before our eyes!!!
FINALLYY!! I was wondering when the Day will come and its here Mark Wiens in my country Costa Rica, enjoy!!!! (I wish i could run into you one day)
Great Video Mark, it’s awesome that your tour guides in Costa Rica are being honest and showing traditional Costa Rican food like El gallo pinto, the chilera sauce, ceviches, but the chalupa’s and the tomato Chile drink shots are not Costa Rican recipes, they are Mexican recipes that are in high demand in Costa Rica.
The chile drink it is not mexican, like he said it pretty similar to bloody mary that was created in NY not México.
Mark will not do go for an extra mile , going on central market in comfort already provides sufficient amount of clicks
Ah man just discovered this channel! I'm in Andorra currently and I haven't discovered the local food yet! I make videos whilst traveling the world but don't do any local food reviews! He's doing this so right! Much to learn
All the delay in drinking the eggs.. where yu privately praying and simultaneously giving commentary..❤thoughtful
