Sorry for interrupt process, but i cant stop thinking why you use "3 beams star" as mechanical part? I understood that 3 "beams" (repeated bending elements) is enough to operate, and they was used in control mechanics, but if i understood correct now you will use magnetometer and gyroscope, that not connected directly to mechanics that allow joystic to move. So maybe it will be more logical to use same design but with 4 "beams"? It will allow to get equal resistance from "springs" in all 4 directions vs 3 beams variant where resistanse goes by different angles, not parallel/perpendicular to applying force and as result vary in forward/back and left/right directions.

Do you think it's difficult to make a space mouse given the API connection it uses with Fusion?
it will be using the fusion api, the documentation is really poor, but some guys made it and it can be reversed engineered relatively easily
