Finally the trip to Ripon Wisconsin. RIP ON. I live here and the roads to the your delivery is terrible for trucks. So cool for me to see a RUclipsr driving an area I’m familiar with. Awesome.
You two keep getting loads to the Great White North! Glad we here in the greater Chicago area have had a warm, easy winter (again) this year. Like only a couple of 'decent' snowfalls and hardly any really cold air masses. Nothing like it used to be.
I know Kevin would rather drive in NYC or Chicago, lol *(not)*.
You have to be careful going through Rosendale Wisconsin. They're noted for their speed traps. We know that you guys follow all the rules because you're such a dedicated company driver, with a cute co-pilot. Rosendale had a major accident or a semi truck hitting the back end of a school bus on a foggy morning right on highway 26. They were a major speed trap before the accident but even more so now. They even have t-shirts after you get stopped at the quick Mart stating the fact you were speeding through Rosendale, so don't get stopped. Keep on trucking.
What about the house on stilts?? I would say...um...no.😂

It's pronounced "Rippin", and you are making me homesick... I lived in Wisconsin my whole 65 year life, and moved to Nevada last year. I'm a truck driver myself, and have driven that area many times. Hwy 26 through Rosendale is the standard short cut from US 151 to Oshkosh... Thank you for your channel, and Keep up the good work!!!

If a customer hits you and you dont have your safety vest you're SOL, if they hit you and you have safety vest on, you get a fat paycheck from the courts. My homie got denied money cuz he was wearing all black at a shipper and a forklift hit him and he left the yellow taped path.

No. Never had a problem. We add a company issued lock and don’t park in sketchy places.

Deciding to move to this company on this slow market. Can I ask what’s the average miles per week that you guys run ? I be joining as a owner operator and i know it’s different but just trying to see if the 3000miles a week is doable ?
Hello there! Yes! 3,000 is definitely doable. Work with your asset managers to keep you busy. As owner-operator we believe they give you 3 load choices. Work carefully with your clock. Don’t be afraid to ask them to change appointment times to maximize your time. Sometimes they can. Sorry you have to ‘go to a company in this slow market.’ But we hope you do well with Crete. It’s a good company. We are happy and hear the same from many others. Of course it’s still trucking. 😉😆Please be so kind to give them our referral code, SLOKEV. We’d be very grateful! Got a call from Crete yesterday. They said they would start me off at 60 cents. I just reached 1 year experience, 100,000 miles at my company, they said they would bump me up one cent to 48 cents a mile at 120,000 miles. My first thought after that was did the Joy of trucking say you spell it SLOKEV all capital letters 🤔…. Is that about right start at 60 cents a mile at Crete with one year experience??
Yes on ALL of that!!!! 😁 And opportunity for quarterly bonuses. After a year you qualify for paid vacation and profit sharing! Crete is a good company. It’s still trucking, so nothings perfect, of course😆😆😆But we are happy here. Way less stress and way more money than Werner, where Kevin drive move his first year.
