Junebug on Neighborhorde with 5 chocolate bars and 17 sodas is a terrifying force to be reckoned with.
Even though this theme was unfortunately not used much ingame with the severe lack of actual boss fights, this is a very groovy track
It was worse for me cuz my fisrt playthrough was on normal, so the fights were very short. the first boss literally only took two punctuations.
now that it's the music for the neighborhorde it definitely has more use
That makes it a little more special, I think. Ever play Front Mission on SNES? It has that one track that absolutely slaps, that blows every other track clear out of the water, called The Evils Of War (ruclips.net/video/X2-Rpm5wF40/видео.html) that only plays for one and a half missions. It's way better because you only get to hear it a couple of times.

They were really cookin
There's a band/duo I really like called Moon Hooch that does music similar to this. They performed an NPR tiny desk concert if you want to check out a sampling of their music. Soon as I heard this theme it reminded me of them and I couldn't help but jam out while running for my life in the game.
There is no reason for this theme to be as good as it is. And it sounds so uneasy, which is really fitting considering that you play as a maintenance man who just got trapped in a dark, underground, abandoned set with a frankenstein puppet that, unlike the previous ones that were just overexcited to see you, wants to actually kill you.
Most player kill the Final Boss before the music realy start.
Why was there a electric guitar and bass guitar in this track? And why is it amazing?

The soundtrack to this game reminds me of Bruno Coulais' work on Coraline. I'd say the two pieces of media are very different, despite both being kid-friendly horror, but the soundtracks just feel oddly similar in terms of vibes, y'know? Except My Friendly Neighbourhood has a more modern approach, obviously. It also slaps.
