I love this. I wanna start enhancing movies this way and the late 1800/ early 1900's horror literature podcast I listen to. Love a good immersive experience.
My witchy routine has been more in depth in the past. Lately I've been working on making sure my path forward is influenced by myself only so Ive put that on hold for now. All I've been doing instead is basically charging my chakras, I have a whole meditation where I just visualize each chakra starting from the root. I'll visualize roots growing into the core of the earth from my root chakra which I'll make glow and spin. I move up with a different visualization for each. Then my heart chakra I'll visualize gold around it that then expands into all of existence. Sometimes I'll visualize my whole body as crystalline and blue. That's my only daily practice, I'll mess with the weather if needed. My sisters wedding was 2 weeks ago for an example, the forecast wasnt great so I just had a chat with the spirits of the weather and left an offering. Perfect wedding weather. I love this idea for creating art though, might incorporate it next time I'm designing a stained glass pattern!
I love your chaotic, wholesome, spooky, witchy boi energy. I work early mornings but when I get home I light candles, make tea and have breakfast with my cat for company, we do this every morning so I guess its a little ritual 😊

I wish i could take a picture and post it here but next to me there is an old vanity table with its stool underneath which nobody uses anymore because it's so old and dusty. Anyway, last month i was watching some videos on the tube when i heard tapping on wood, so i get a little freaked out and look everywhere to see where the noise was coming from. i got out of the room, and tell my mom about what i was hearing. I went back to the bed to resume my video then one of the drawers starts opening on its own. I jumped and look to my right and there was a pillow on the stool, so im like...wait, was that there before? I get up and give it a second look, and holy crap the pillow had a tail so i tell my mom that the pillow looks like a cat. My mom inspects the stool and yeah, there was indeed a cat on the old, dusty stool underneath the vanity table. It just appeared out of nowhere, we have no idea when or how but my mom struggled to get it outside of the house. I actually wondered if it was living with us for a while and we never knew. Now i look at the empty stool every hour or so to see if another cat shows up.
Garrett, as a witch watching this video, I want you to know that you are definitely a witch if you want that title. The things you discuss in this video are all very in-line with witchy rituals and practices. So feel free to join us if you want and call yourself a witch, but if you're more comfortable just being who you are right now, that's just fine too. 💕💕

My ritual is my bath! Not very exciting i know but a spoon full of coconut oil, some rose quartz and selenite, and plenty of bath Salts and flower petals… just say a goodbye to my roasted tootsies 🛁

I’m a fairly new witch, but I was going to say the same thing! This is extremely impressive to me, he’s incredibly in tune with things he interacts with and how he chooses to do these things. He’s literally naturally doing witchcraft without even thinking about it.

I've been such a huge believer in spirituality and all things paranormal, but it's so hard to find people who treat it the entire topic with respect. I'm just now coming back to Garrett, and I'm so unbelievably touched by his genuine caring and kindness with not only his rituals but his communication. His energy is so sweet and open and warm, it's no wonder his home is so welcoming to other kind spirits. He 100% welcomes them, AND brings them comfort and light.

I really wanted to share something on the spooky/spirit side of things. Without going into too much detail, my little sister passed away two years ago and sometimes I will put it out there asking her to send me a "sign of her presence" if you will. Well I was watching this and right before you mentioned tootsie rolls I was thinking specifically about my sister. Garrett, my sister's favorite candy, and this was a thing growing up, was TOOTSIE ROLLS! I got chills and started crying. She would have loved you and your videos. And I feel like even if it's just some weird coincidence, I got to have a connection with her today and maybe she enjoyed that video with me. Fucking creepy lol

He tells a story or sometimes stories, and that is what makes him so entertaining. edit: as for rituals, I (every night) turn my desk chair around so it is facing the desk. I always feel like someone is sitting there (much like you) so I would rather they look out the window instead of at me sleeping.

Hey Garrett, not really sure if this is a ritual, but every time there is a thunderstorm I love lighting a candle, grabbing a hot chocolate and journaling! It makes me feel like someone from the 1800’s writing by candle light and I love it. Sometimes I’ll even watch Coraline or another creepy movie to really seal the deal. i love that these videos both give me the warm fuzzies and also creep me out, which is my favorite kind of thing! which also brings me to my ritualistic thing: every october i set aside a day to light a candle, wrap myself in a blanket on my bed, put on some thunderstorm sounds, have some dark chocolate, and read the haunting of hill house by shirley jackson. it just never really feels like fall til i do this and it's so cozy and spooky at the same time and makes me so happy!

I love the WHOLESOME WITCHY BOI goodness of this channel! Garrett, thank you for being the purest human on the planet!! The reverence you hold for the places, people, and objects of the past is so loving! My "ritual" is putting on make up after doing self-care... I need to be alone with my thoughts and indulge in quiet. I don't mind the house noises of my family in the background doing their thing but I really get amped up with anxiety when someone comes in to ask something of me that could really have waited. I don't mean emergencies or anything vital or if I hear my daughter call for me. I am tuned into the normal sounds of my household. I just don't enjoy having a conversation that could have been brought up later while I'm having my time. I have to basically reset my vibe and start over relaxing. Also, I greet the twilight every day as it is my favorite time of the day and the moon when I see her. I do read tarot and oracle cards, and I must listen to music when I am working on my art and jewelry for my shop... music is a soothing, emotional, beautiful thing and I just feel like what I make is imbued with those lovely intentions I'm feeling and giving off... idk if this is what you particularly meant but these things are just a part of me. I absolutely love your rituals, you are amazingly cool!

As a Severe OCD sufferer, my life is filled with rituals, usually unwanted but necessary for my brain…. BUT I do this too when watching certain movies/shows! Or if I’m writing in my journal, I’ll set the scene on my antique desk & tornado lamp, etc…. I jokingly but not really jokingly call it “playing make believe” to those who don’t live inside my head but are in my presence at a time I feel like doing this!…. You’re awesome, Garrett. This channel is awesome. I love listening to you talk about things that matter to you. As someone who practices witchcraft and also works with certain entities, I find this video so cool!! It makes me so happy to see one of my longtime-favorite RUclipsrs making content about it :D! Some of the ritualistic things I enjoy doing are reading tarot, lighting incense as offerings for the diety I work with (realizing just now to some people who are less familiar with this kind of stuff how strange that might sound lmao), and also setting up a nice environment for reading new books I find on mythology and other topics I’m interested in (usually it includes putting on some relaxing music, lighting a candle, and dimming some lights to make the atmosphere more cozy and more stimulating, as someone with adhd I find doing this helps me focus a lot better). Loved this video and can’t wait to watch the new haunted vid!

I work in an old building that used to be a teachers' college at the turn of the 20th century. I have had actual run-ins with physical manifestations in the sub-basement. So now, I always make sure to say hello if I'm opening up for the day, or goodbye whenever I'm on the closing shift. And we haven't had any weird poltergeist activity or sightings since I started doing that. Also, Garrett, you give off "the world's best hugger" vibes and I am so down with that.

I don't know what it is, but Garrett, his channel and the community all collectively feel like a safe space to me. Even seeing Garrett's house, despite the scary things, it's so cozy and intriguing. Literally haven't been out the house for months because nowhere feels safe to me, (severe social anxiety) but this does, and I'm so grateful 🥰

My dad says he makes things "performance art" for himself so things are fun. He'll set up his camp site like its going to be a setting in a movie. He'll elegantly rearrange his working space. I've been such a huge believer in spirituality and all things paranormal, but it's so hard to find people who treat it the entire topic with respect. I'm just now coming back to Garrett, and I'm so unbelievably touched by his genuine caring and kindness with not only his rituals but his communication. His energy is so sweet and open and warm, it's no wonder his home is so welcoming to other kind spirits. He 100% welcomes them, AND brings them comfort and light.

I really wanted to share something on the spooky/spirit side of things. Without going into too much detail, my little sister passed away two years ago and sometimes I will put it out there asking her to send me a "sign of her presence" if you will. Well I was watching this and right before you mentioned tootsie rolls I was thinking specifically about my sister. Garrett, my sister's favorite candy, and this was a thing growing up, was TOOTSIE ROLLS! I got chills and started crying. She would have loved you and your videos. And I feel like even if it's just some weird coincidence, I got to have a connection with her today and maybe she enjoyed that video with me. Fucking creepy lol

I love that when Garrett has to explain the video or some kind of activity, he doesn't just explain it with simple terms. He tells a story or sometimes stories, and that is what makes him so entertaining.
edit: as for rituals, I (every night) turn my desk chair around so it is facing the desk. I always feel like someone is sitting there (much like you) so I would rather they look out the window instead of at me sleeping.

Hey Garrett, not really sure if this is a ritual, but every time there is a thunderstorm I love lighting a candle, grabbing a hot chocolate and journaling! It makes me feel like someone from the 1800’s writing by candle light and I love it. Sometimes I’ll even watch Coraline or another creepy movie to really seal the deal.

i love that these videos both give me the warm fuzzies and also creep me out, which is my favorite kind of thing! which also brings me to my ritualistic thing: every october i set aside a day to light a candle, wrap myself in a blanket on my bed, put on some thunderstorm sounds, have some dark chocolate, and read the haunting of hill house by shirley jackson. it just never really feels like fall til i do this and it's so cozy and spooky at the same time and makes me so happy!
The Haunting of Hill House is one of my favorite books!

I love the WHOLESOME WITCHY BOI goodness of this channel! Garrett, thank you for being the purest human on the planet!! The reverence you hold for the places, people, and objects of the past is so loving! My "ritual" is putting on make up after doing self-care... I need to be alone with my thoughts and indulge in quiet. I don't mind the house noises of my family in the background doing their thing but I really get amped up with anxiety when someone comes in to ask something of me that could really have waited. I don't mean emergencies or anything vital or if I hear my daughter call for me. I am tuned into the normal sounds of my household. I just don't enjoy having a conversation that could have been brought up later while I'm having my time. I have to basically reset my vibe and start over relaxing. Also, I greet the twilight every day as it is my favorite time of the day and the moon when I see her. I do read tarot and oracle cards, and I must listen to music when I am working on my art and jewelry for my shop... music is a soothing, emotional, beautiful thing and I just feel like what I make is imbued with those lovely intentions I'm feeling and giving off... idk if this is what you particularly meant but these things are just a part of me. I absolutely love your rituals, you are amazingly cool!

As a Severe OCD sufferer, my life is filled with rituals, usually unwanted but necessary for my brain…. BUT I do this too when watching certain movies/shows! Or if I’m writing in my journal, I’ll set the scene on my antique desk & tornado lamp, etc…. I jokingly but not really jokingly call it “playing make believe” to those who don’t live inside my head but are in my presence at a time I feel like doing this!…. You’re awesome, Garrett. This channel is awesome. I love listening to you talk about things that matter to you. I just love it *here* 💞 And I really want to sit in that cozy room (without that picture/mirror/chair set up, probably haha)
As someone who practices witchcraft and also works with certain entities, I find this video so cool!! It makes me so happy to see one of my longtime-favorite RUclipsrs making content about it :D! Some of the ritualistic things I enjoy doing are reading tarot, lighting incense as offerings for the diety I work with (realizing just now to some people who are less familiar with this kind of stuff how strange that might sound lmao), and also setting up a nice environment for reading new books I find on mythology and other topics I’m interested in (usually it includes putting on some relaxing music, lighting a candle, and dimming some lights to make the atmosphere more cozy and more stimulating, as someone with adhd I find doing this helps me focus a lot better). Loved this video and can’t wait to watch the new haunted vid!

I work in an old building that used to be a teachers' college at the turn of the 20th century. I have had actual run-ins with physical manifestations in the sub-basement. So now, I always make sure to say hello if I'm opening up for the day, or goodbye whenever I'm on the closing shift. And we haven't had any weird poltergeist activity or sightings since I started doing that.
Also, Garrett, you give off "the world's best hugger" vibes and I am so down with that.
