This is such a good idea for a slice-of-life anime, where a regular guy who has the cutest laugh (Andrew) is roommates with a giant monster demon thing (Garrett) in retirement. He occasionally succumbs to his nature and scares the regular guy but really he just wants to be accepted and loved.
the cinematography is absolutely everything, andrew exploring the house, the camera movements, the suspense, the drawling of such a cheery song tune and how it slowly distorts and even the fucking little panicked breaths from behind the camera would make such a good video game you two are so creative omfg
I watched some of Shane's stuff after he returnedd but...I couldn't make it through. For some reason the magic was gone and I realized it's these two that were really a HUGE part of Shane's older videos (to me , at least). That's the energy I've been looking for. I'm glad to find it again here :)

That ending though, I love how there were so many things that should've been creepy like the random pile of nonsense in the backyard but it's not investigated because that's just Garrett's yard trash, like just totally normal.
