I just used your video to try to enter some coordinates that a buddy had given me. The video got me right to it but I couldn’t use some of my numbers. Like they were locked. Any idea. And thanks for the video.
I’ll have to check. I noticed that as well, but I haven’t messed with it very often. I found it easier to just enter the coordinates into Google Earth, then copy the waypoint from there to the graph.
Great question. Once you get back to the chart, hit menu, waypoints and tracks, waypoints, and it should be there. It’ll probably just be a dark grey square icon and just numbered and not called anything. You can then click on it and edit it. 🤙🏼
@@InstinctBassin Thank you for that!! However in my case, with 1900 waypoints(don't ask), it is not that simple. When i do everything you mention above, it does not show my last waypoint entry. I have to do a crazy search for it. So I have to do a Sort by Symbol (it works off t he last symbol you use) to locate it. What I would love to happen is, after entering coordinates and hit DONE, then go to Waypoint, it was the first one. Then I could edit.

Thanks for this however after selecting DONE, how do I find my new coordinates I just entered so I can go back and edit. aka name it? Thank you....

What name does it give it on the waypoint?
If you sort them by distance, it should be the first one, assuming you are in the water when creating it.
