Great information, I do not have a Garmin GPS I was wondering how do you steer with that system? Is there a separate screen for than? I was looking at a Simrad unit and it has a section called navigation. It looks like a 3-D image looking forward that gives you, some sort of reference when steering just wondering if Garmin has something similar.
I’m not familiar with the navigation screen on Simrad so I couldn’t answer if Garmin has that also. When the autopilot is enabled on my boat I do see an image like what you are describing on my autopilot screen but I’m not sure if that’s what Simrad does.
