Those are great, I love the old trailers. Rarely see those in that good condition, usually they are full of junk and falling apart. I would love an old tractor to move my trailers around on the farm. Thanks Todd, enjoyed it.
Great catch That HD Hayes is very much like the 74 HD I drove in 74 to 76 with a 370 Cummins with a RTO 12513, back then a 370 was big power. even same colour
TOO COOL!!!! Sure wish your friends would thin their herds and build some storage fer all these time capsules! I am down in California and watched so much cool old gear slowly return to the earth. The old logging gear is vanishing along with all the truck and trailer and short log gear I love! Cheers from Santa Cruz
Sad to see this old iron fading away. They were once running trucks working hard every day. Who knows the stories they could tell, the things they saw and did. And now they sit, forgotten and neglected, likely for the rest of their lives. I know they’re just vehicles, I’ve just always had this feeling towards older stuff.
Hello,,Smithers Transport started out in 1955 and changed over to Bandstra Transportation I'm guessing the early 80's. Did a lot of tires on their equipment starting in the mid 80's at Kal Tire Smithers. Very cool to see one of their old trailers and they are now owned by Mullen Transport out of Alberta
Interesting. I love stuff like this. Just posted a few Smithers ads from back in the day in the community tab on my channel. It’s always interesting to see what these long neglected trailers and rigs did during their service lives. Couldn’t find anything on Veldhold though.
Hi! I'm writing a book based on my dad's memories. He logged in Vancouver Island in 1953- 63 and again in Ontario 1983-84. Would you know what kind of machinery he would have used the second time around? What would he have needed the most? Second question if you please: what task did Kockums 850 perform? Very hard to find any information on Kockums. Many thanks in advance.
That Hayes looks identical to this one here: ruclips.net/video/c6eoZKF3G5E/видео.htmlsi=CdSNEWn7RsZT9FcF. But it looks like a different location, does that Hayes run and drive?
Your grasp and recall of specific makes and models is amazing - and appreciated. I either recall or learn a ton with each episode. Nicely done.
You find the Coolest Old Stuff. 👍 Thanks for posting.
That was awesome
Your commentary brings them back to life
Thanks for another great video 👍
Thanks again Todd for your eye for good content !! “Ran when parked”

Another amazing episode. From one BC guy to another, this is super appreciated. GE Hall was a client of mine back in the day. Great operation.

I would say the owner has as many stories to tell as his great collection of trucks. Thanks for filming these.
4:30 saving the best for last
Awesome video as always
Once again, outstanding video! Can’t get enough!!!
Thanks for consistently watching and commenting, it is noticed!
