Love the little touches that Brian sometimes adds to a song when doing them live. Sometimes I wish those little things would have made it into the album. Other than that, god damn, this is why this band is my favorite. Nobody compares. The sound is just.....me.

I saw their first show with Sarah, and I thought she was absolutely brilliant, needless to say that Nikki is one of my favorite bass players of all time. Although it seems she isn't as spunky in this video as when I saw them. I would hope that Sarah became a touring guitarist or bassist. I love this band, love this song, love this album!

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like his hair is slicked back. You can tell he is used to having long hair by the way he flips his head when he plays and when he tucked some phantom hair behind his ear! HAHA. LOVE IT!
I agree but it is a rehearsal. And he doesn't have the energy of a live crowd with his adoring fans inspiring him which probably accounts for the lackluster too.

I think it's hard for him to hit those "high" notes. He doesn't have a strong Falsetto, but when he "rests" his voice, and the times I've seen him perform, he/they are "spot-on" ... Of course the record sounds "perfect", but even the "tone-deph" can sound "perfect" on a record... (Thank you "Auto-Tune"/Technology...) Ha! :)

It could have been a lot worse. I think the album is not as good as Carnavas, or Swoon, but Neck of the Woods is still a stellar album.
