The prices are: $29.99 for the Normal Edition. $59.99 for the Deluxe Edition. $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Ascension Passes are the all new progression system that reward you as you level up your god masteries. They seem to be battle passes for a specific god that includes skin's emotes, etc. for that particular god.
This is what they said about the Ascension Passes in the FAQ: "We wanted to make mastering a god more rewarding, so we're adding more free rewards to every level and there will be new rewards that you get when you buy the Ascension Pass. You'll still master gods as normal if you don't own an Ascension Pass, but you get a lot more rewards for it if you do. We'll be sharing more info on them as we get closer to their Summer release!"
So you are basically just buying it for god pack, and a few weeks of testing earlier than non buyers

@@Hostobiessentially, so I guess the "all gods pack" bundle has transformed into a "all gods pack + emotes + skins" with different prices. It's kinda good? Means you no longer have to gamble for emotes. Maybe if they include the voice packs it would be worth it more

you'll have 0 dance emotes when the game lunch anyway
They need add more dances to gods / goddess doesn’t have to be fancy but at least they can dance little lol

I really wish they would go more in depth about those Ascension Passes. It seems to be a big part of higher priced editions value and I just wonder if its worth it. If in the end is just a few emotes I dont see it being worth paying double or more
A single T5 cost 100. You're basically paying for the T5 and get the rest.
The T5 don't cost that much, if you take into account all the T5 in smite right know each one was with an odyssey or an event where you get a lot of skin with it, but yeah buy it alone cost a lot. And yeah we don't really know the value of Ascension Passes for now @@Merc7734

This is what I love about smite, giving me the option to buy every single playable god with a single purchase. And not spending a fortune just to play every single character. That is all I wanted and im glad you are keeping that with Smite 2 thank you so much!
I'm definitely fine with the normal one but the neith skin looks too good to pass up. The zeus effects are cool but not for the price it's at.

They're all earnable for f2p in Smite, too. Buying the pack just gives you access to all gods without the grind, which also frees up those resources to spend elsewhere in the game.

im guessing useless garbage you will get for the god, such as the skins in smite you can buy wtih favor but instead you spend real money for the pass and get those trashy skins in the pass along with other garbage like player icons, emotes, possibly voice lines to

Yes, you can play the game for free once it's oficially released. And you can get a key to play in alpha/beta without the founder's pack, but you will have to wait a little more.
Looking it up now, it’s 29.99 for the regular version, 59.99 for the deluxe, and 99.99 for the ultimate.

well, you can at least make an estimation based on how many skins you've bought (technically it's more on how many gems you've spent.) from what I think I'm at the very least getting 50,000 gems, but I'm pretty sure i've spent more than 50k gems, so if I get the founders pack, I'm gonna get more than 100k gems.
@@oneautumnleaf2622 how? Smite has given away many many chests for years. It's hard to know if youve bought the skin or gotten it for free. Unless you can track your payments through steam or something it's not that easy

@@Mitch98079 as far as i'm aware from trying for hours you can't link a Playstation account beyond simply having the Playstation account showing linked in your account - there is no cross progression whatsoever outside of a PS account and that's a Sony thing not a Hi-Rez thing. I may be wrong as I tried on xbox but I understand it's a black hole if you started on PS4/5.

I want to purchase ultimate founders pack before the alpha but when is alpha release so I can make sure I do not miss out
From what I've been seeing it's looking like the first alpha test weekend is being aimed for late March early April but we don't have any confirmation by hi rez

Update, I bought the Ultimate Founders pack yesterday however I cannot play the test server,is it only available to test/play on the weekends until full launch?
I already got the divine legacy an that gives me 2x the gem i used, I was wondering if i still only get 2x if i bought the founder's edition or does it merge with the 2x on the divine legacy and adds up to 3x or does it becomes 4x? Or maybe I am tripping.
the rewards are 1x all the gems you ever spent or 2x. no 4x idk where you are getting that.
Keep in mind those gems you're getting are useless on their own, they only cover HALF of MOST items in the game. meaning, you still need to buy new gems to cover the other half of the cost of any item.

By the looks of it, nope, it's just as i predicted, the cheaper single purchase God Pack won't exist anymore, gotta get these more expensive packs.
so far we don't know. you could email them to ask, because it's not in their FAQ. but presumably they might still sell a regular god pack.

There are only a few skins coming over. Cross Gen skins. But the rest, scrapped. So there are hardly any skins that'll carry over, they're all new

Divine legacy doesn’t give you 2x gems iirc. All it gives you is those skins and they said all gems you’ve ever spent is transferred to smite 2. They’ve never said a word about 2x gems unless you buy a founders pack which does double your gems
Ok then the other pass that they released where you got 2x Gems. I know this isn’t the first time they’ve offered it so the question still stands. Do they stack?
No only founder pack double legacy gems nothing else
Legacy gems are doubled for every smite 1 gem you've spent, the founders pack doubles it so in a sense yes you get x4 but it's more like if you have spent let's say 8000 gems in smite 1. You automatically in smite 2 get 16000 legacy gems. If you buy a founders pack you instead get 32000 legacy gems.
As a Predecessor player... I have no idea what ascensions are. Would have been cool if they elaborated on it a little. Nonetheless, I will now be googling. I hope this doesn't kill Predecessor, but looking forward to playing
Well, considering that all of these packs include all of the SMITE 2 gods coming out forever, that's a good start. And the base pack is $30 USD, which is about as much as SMITE 1's All the Gods Pack. So that's a fair sell. But oh boy. $100 for all the bells and whistles? Those better be some damn good bells.

For the ascension passes we need to know more about pricing. Like, if u can buy them with in game free currency, or gems or only cash. So we can know if those more expensive founder's editions are worth it or not.

Smite 1 pack is not the same you will be required to purchase the Smite 2 god pack if you want all gods

Considering the hours most people have in Smite 1 for the price we paid, I'd say they're fair prices.

It’s always good to start fresh to be honest. I wouldn’t mind it at least I get a better upgraded version of the game no more blue screening me off smite like smite 1 did during my rank matches lol.

@@xlGromlx The smite fanbase has been waiting on Hi-Rez to add cross progression for PS consoles and PC for 5+ years now so if all your progress is on Sony stuff stick to sony stuff, it won't transfer anyways...sony is too greedy to let cross progression happen without them getting money from it and Hi-Rez is owned by some cheapo company that's refusing as well because of lost revenue. But they're pushing all this new shady monetization in the first place with a LOT of asterisks and hidden text so I'm giving up blaming Sony. Other smaller companies not backed by media conglomerates have bitten the bullet, Hi-Rez isn't special anymore.

how does the x2 gems work? you need to have gems on Smite 1 to x2 for smite 2? so the 16,000 gems I spent a month ago was a waste and I shouldn't of spent any until Smite 2? that sucks

As far as I can tell from this video the founders edition "unlocks all Smite TWO Gods" but then it's not clearly defined what a Smite 2 God" is, is that new Gods or all Gods? Hence my question

Wasn't in smite 1. It's brand new. I'm pretty sure it's just extra rewards you unlock from playing that specific god

@@HighLanderPonyYT Last Epoch is the most anticipated indie ARPG this year and it costs $35. Hades is the most beloved indie Roguelite and it is $25. Subnautica is $30. You are aware that the $30 point is the average price tag for indie titles correct? So how is it that you don't have an issue with these games being priced $30 but it is "too high" for Smite?
You aren't getting multiple indie games without a third party website or a seasonal sale via steam.
