    Have an 09 mariner.. loud clunking/clicking noise coming from the center of the steering while driving and making a turn. What would it be? Replaced stem joint, rack n pinion, cv shafts, torque sensor And still can't trouble shoot it.

    I just replaced the control arms tie rods and sway bars and now I'm receiving the message. Does something need to be reset?!

      @1Wayfix  4 месяца назад

      Yes. After replace the tie rods. You. Need to to do alignment. So you angle sensor. Or steering wheel sensor. Is set at 0 degrees with the steering wheel straight.

      @@1Wayfix and then the power steering assist fault will go off?! I have never seen this notification until after new tie rods

      @1Wayfix  4 месяца назад +1

      @@pacobus24 yes. Just make sure. When they do the alignment. They check. That the angle sensor or steering wheel sensor. Or torque sensor. Is. At 0 degrees with the steering wheel straight. Then can do the adjustment on the tie rods.

      Some people have had to replace the whole column assembly, CL8Z 3C529 D, which is the electric power steering motor.

      @@azul93gt38 that’s why we need to. Diagnostic. The problem first. In this case. Because the symptoms. Take me to do the. Sensor. The data that was showing on my scanner was. Out of range. When the steering wheel is in the center position. The sensor should. Show. 0 degrees.
