what were the symptoms? how did you know that the motor is bad? I replaced the torque sensor, as this happened before, but still no codes and no assist on the steering.
@@7676pscales no it did not. however, I had a mobile mechanic come scan the car and now it works.??? but it is a little less power turning to the left than to the right.
Thanks for video, mine is 2006 Escape Hybrid. Not same problem/solution, im told. My power steering went out suddenly, and before i replace that power steering module, it was suggested: 1. Problem is more in cable in that module under hood, so tap with hammer or something.(worked for some) And also.. forgot, lol If you got any tips, ❤❤❤
Thanks for the video! I got the module installed but having a heck of a time getting the steering wheel on, it goes on maybe 1.5 inches then sticks. Tried everything I can think of. Any ideas? Thanks

Did replacing the torque sensor work for you
